1. Introduce yourself.
Hi I’m Yến Phương. I was born and grew up in Hồ Chí Minh city . I’m
studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education ad is
a 1st year student majoring in e-commerce.I’m an active, enthusiastic , and
easily emotional person.I like to go to many places and enjoy many food.
The place I like to go the most is Dalat because it has a cool atmosphere and
have many delicious food such as grilled rice paper and fruit juice.
2. Describe 1 of your family members. For example, your mother, father
or brother or sister. Describe his or her appearance or personality.
There are 3 members in my family. My mom is the most wonderful person
in my heart. She is a person who is always enthusiastic about working and
willing to sacrifice for his children. She is a very good cook and tailor. My
mother's current job is a tailor and a small shop owner at home.My mother
sells a lot of decoration and is currently she is selling christmas decorations.
Also she is a very funny and cheerful persion.

1. The room is spacious and filled with natural light.
2. The room gives me comfort and quiet after spending time studying and
traveling outside
3. The room has many souvenirs that I have kept over the years, which help me
recall old memories
4. On the table, my mother often arranges flowers, which makes the room
beautiful. After an exhausted return from work, sit on the living room sofa,
how wonderful it feels
5. On the opposite corner is a table which I use to sit and study, and above the
table is a bookshelf where I put my textbooks, novels, and comics that I like
to read
6. The room is not too large, its area is only about 16m.

8. We do not have any window there, so we install an air conditioner to keep

One of the benefits of learning Chinese is that it helps you freely trade and sell
domestic Chinese goods. For those who love business, knowing Chinese is an
advantage for you. You can confidently search for goods on Chinese e-commerce
websites, communicate and exchange with Chinese distributors.

6. Describe your city/ hometown or a favorite city or town.
+About Sai Gon or HCM City, the city that I grew up with.
+Sai Gon is considered a signature of Vietnam with a certain extent of popularity
on a global scale.
+It is situated in the Southern part of the country.
+Sai Gon is densely populated as it is the business center of Vietnam, attracting
many investors as well as workers from across the country pouring there to make
ends meet or to expand their business.
+Therefore, it goes without saying that HCM City is a typical cosmopolitan city in
Vietnam.
Sai Gon is well known for so many things.
+Firstly, the huge number of vehicles joining the traffic is mind-blowing to any
first-time visitor. +The streets are packed with motor bikes, cars, buses moving fast
forward in an organized chaos.
+Secondly, the people there play an important role in leaving such a good
impression on tourists as many foreigners have said in several interviews that the
Saigonese made them feel like home when they were actually wandering on a
completely strange continent. Moreover, the food there is also a hit, satisfying
many different tastes of not only tourists but locals also.
7. Describe 6 actions in your normal day and what time you do these
actions.
Wake up, go to school , prepare things for school, have breakfast , sleeping ,
stuying, watching film , listen to music , meeting group
+Wake up at 5’30 o’clock. I get up at 6..After I have a shower and get dressed. I
usually wear jeans, t shirt , cardigan and shose. I brush my hair, put on my make-
up.
+I pack my bag with all my study materials such as my laptop, book , pen , water
of bottle , walet , …. I then put on my coat and leave the house. At 11 pm
+I walk to the bus stop. I catch the bus at 6h30, and then I pay my fare and sit
down. It takes about 45 minutes to get to school. I get off the bus and walk to the
school.. Class starts at … and ends at …
+ I usually sleep at noon from 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock then continue studying
+ I like watching ghost movies because it's interesting and causes excitement when
watching, so I usually watch it around 12 pm.
+ There are meetings at 7pm for group work including solving arising problems
and assigning tasks as well as helping each other study in groups effectively.
8. What do you like doing in your free time
+I usually like to relax and watch TV shows, read books, or listen to music. I also
enjoy going for walks or spending time outdoors if the weather is nice.
+In these moments, I regularly do activities I enjoy to reduce stress and enjoy the
small pleasures in everyday life.
+Watching movies and TV series is one of my favorite activities. I choose works
that are entertaining, can make me laugh, reflect, or simply rest comfortably.
+Reading is also a great choice, opening windows for my soul into other worlds,
opening up new ideas and discovering knowledge.
+Additionally, listening to music is a great way to relax. I enjoy calming or
dynamic melodies depending on my mood and surrounding atmosphere. This helps
create a peaceful and quiet space or an active and vibrant space.
+On days with nice weather, going for a walk or spending time outdoors is also an
important part of my free time. The combination of physical activity and enjoying
fresh air helps me feel refreshed and active.
+These moments are not only time for entertainment, but also an opportunity for
me to connect with myself and re-energize before taking on new challenges of the
day.
9. What do you like doing with your family at weekend?
+ I like to sit and talk with my family and cook together
+ Sitting, talking and cooking together is not only a good way to create beautiful
memories but also an opportunity to strengthen family relationships. This time
sharing helps build cohesion and create a cozy atmosphere in the family.
+ Cooking with my family is also something I like to do with my family. I get to
experiment with new recipes, create unique dishes, and even create delicious meals
for my family every so often.
+Day Trips: Taking short trips to nearby cities or interesting locations
+ Family Dinners: Having a special family dinner, either at home or at a favorite
restaurant.
10.What you like and dislike, explain.
+ I like playing sports such as badminton or biking
+ Stress Relief: Sports activities help reduce stress and anxiety, helping your mood
become more positive.
+ Biking with friends or family: A family bike ride is not only a physical activity
but also a good way to enjoy beautiful scenery and create fun memories.
+I don’t like study physical education at school because after each class I feel very
tired and uncomfortable
+I'm really not good at endurance running. and it is one of the final exams to pass
the subject and I feel very worried about it
11.Do you like taking a gap year? Why or why not?
+ Pros of Taking a Gap Year:

volunteering, working, or traveling, can help develop a range of skills, including

-Rest and Rejuvenation: Taking a break from formal education or work may
provide much-needed rest and rejuvenation, reducing burnout and enhancing
overall well-being.
-Exploration of Interests: A gap year allows individuals to explore various
interests, hobbies, or career paths before committing to a specific academic or
professional track.
-Cultural Exposure: Traveling or living in different locations during a gap year can
provide valuable cultural exposure and broaden one's perspective on the world.

12.Do you do any volunteer work? Describe it? If you can, what kind of
volunteer work would you like to take? Why?
+Currently, I do not do any volunteer work, but in the past I have participated in
the charity food distribution work organized by the temple near my house and I
found it to be a very fun and memorable experience.
+ And my wish when volunteering is to deliver gifts and cakes to children as well
as participate in sales activities to raise funds or participate in the school's spring
volunteer campaign.
+ Build Social Relationships: Volunteering creates new opportunities to meet and
connect with people with similar passions and values.
+ Create a Good Habit: Volunteering can become a positive habit, helping to create
a positive and socially conscious lifestyle.
