Islam is like other religions, a matter of rituals, ceremonies, and offerings. This courseexplains the
different facets of life of a Muslim that need to be understood in the light of theinjunctions which
Islam has laid down in this connection. The course provides the students with an opportunity for
learning the Islamic viewpoint on contemporary issues and challenges including knowledge of
Course Islamic beliefs, ethics, economics, politics, civilizations,culture, and society. The course guides the
Description students about the challenges that are created bythe rapid developments in science and technology.
It also gives a guideline to the students how to meet the challenges effectively and efficiently being
following the Islamic injunctions. The contents of Islamic vision help the students in achieving life
goals, targets by the students within a specific time framework. This course is designed to meet the
HEC requirements of the partial fulfilment of the BS Islamic Studies curriculum.
