Zoom in/out (Scroll up/down mouse)


If users scroll up once, Zoom in/out feature is activated.
Dragging the mouse downward or to the left reduces the window and upward or to the right magnifies the window.
Users must click scroll button to finish zooming.

Procedure
1. Click to Create a
new project Importing a file in midas Gen:
1. Create a New File by going to Gen
Home Button then select New
Project…
2. Go to Gen Home Button then
select Import and then click on
STAAD2002 File…(Locate the file
you want to import)
3. After selecting the file to import,
This dialog box will appear.

2. Go to Gen Home Button then


select import and click on
STAAD2002 File (Locate the file
you want to import)

Select the AISC Section DB you want


to use then click Close button
Note: Close the next message
window that will appear

Boundary Conditions, Load Cases
and Analysis Control are all
supported

4. Set up your units and click


on OK button

Note: The units must be


consistent with the dxf file
