    ASSESSMENT OF THE TRADE AND TRANSPORT FACILITATION FOR THE
    MAPUTO AND MTWARA ROAD LINKAGE CORRIDORS

    The Republic of Mozambique has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF)
    toward the cost of the Mueda – Negomano Road Upgrading Project: Phase II (Lot A –
    Roma/Nambungale -35Km) as part of Mtwara Development Corridor and intends to apply part
    of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for the
    Assessment of the Trade and Transport Facilitation of the Maputo and Mtwara Road linkage
    Corridors in Mozambique.

    The services included under this project are, i) corridor diagnostic and performance assessment, ii)
    trade facilitation, iii) performance improvement and iv) impact evaluation, and will be undertaken for
    each corridor. The duration of the Services is expected to be for a period of six (06) months.

    The National Roads Administration, Public Institute (ANE, IP) now invites eligible consultants to
    indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information
    indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments,
    experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may
    constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

    Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with
    the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group-Funded Operations” dated
    October 2015, which are available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org/en/projects-and-
    operations/procurement/new-procurement-policy. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with
    the Consultants Qualifications Selection (CQS) method set out in the Bank Operation Procurement
    Manual, Part A, Volume 1, dated November 2018.

    Interested consultants may obtain further information, including the Terms of Reference, at the address
    below during office hours 07:30 to 15:30 hours local time from Monday to Friday.

    Expressions of Interest in English language must be delivered (by email or hardy copy) to the address
    below by 02 November, 2023 at 10:00 hours Mozambique time, and mention: “Bid Number:
