SCRIPT FOR UNITED NATIONS CELEBRATION 2024

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to our United Nations Day
celebration here in Langub Elementary School with the theme, “One Common
Future, One Common Agenda” , we recognize our shared responsibility in
shaping a brighter, more sustainable world for everyone.
This afternoon we will witness the dazzling students as they present their
chosen countries wearing their national costume and we will find out who will
be the worthy students to be awarded as Best in Costume and Best in
Production Number.
I know that all the students including the parents and teachers who are all
here are all excited. So let us not prolong the agony of waiting. Let’s start!
May I request everyone to stand for the prayer and this will be followed by
the singing of national anthem and sugbo hymn.
____________________________________________________________________________________
Please be seated. To formally start the event, may I call on our active Master
Teacher and a Grade 6 adviser, Maam Marydel Inigo to give her welcome
message. Around of applause please.

Thank you so much maam Dyl for the warm message. They say that beauty is
in the eye of the beholder. What may be beautiful to me may not be beautiful
for you, or the other way around. That’s why we have with us our panel of
judges who have an eye for beauty. May I request Maam Ivy Anne S. Day, our
AP coordinator to introduce our panel of judges.

Thank you so much Maam Ivy. And of course in any competition, there should
always be standards or criteria in which judgement should be based. May I
request the Chairman of the Board of Judges Maam Ronelyn Mendez to read
the criteria for judging. A big hand please.

Thank you so much Xian for sharing your talent. This is the end of the golden
rule of the competition. We’ve reached the finish line, as we are now about to
announce the winners. So, to announce the winners, may I call on the

Thank you so much maam Ivy. Indeed, this event reminds us that we,
regardless of race, age or gender, have the right to be equal with everybody
else. This day is not only about our sense of pride as a nation, but rather it is a
day that allows us to share that pride with others.
This has been the United Nations 2024 Celebration. Once again good
afternoon and God bless us all..
