DETAILED NOTIFICATION
Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held at Nutrihub,
ICAR Indian Institute of Millets Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, on 1st October, 2024
from 10:00 A.M. onwards for recruitment of the following positions under the below mentioned
project as per the details given below.
1. Name of the post Project Manager - (1 Post)

Project MoFPI - PMFME
Emoluments Rs. 1, 00,000/- Per month (Consolidated)
Essential Qualifications:
Process
Engineering/ Economics/ Agribusiness management/Biotechnology with Minimum 60% marks. 2-4
experience in dealing with Millet processing.
PhD in qualifying subject will be preferable.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, 2-3 experience in handling of millets processing machinery,
primary processing machinery, commissioning and scheduling, working knowledge on lab
equipment, Value added product costing and documentation skills.
Knowledge on enhancement of shelf life, engineering aspects of processing equipment &
packaging of millets.
Development of Business plans, marketing plans, preparing DPRs, etc.
Expertise in establishing millet processing lines and product development
Proficiency in English, and handling computer software MS-Office.
Willing to travel for field visits in various project related states.
2. Research Manager - (1 Post)

Emoluments Rs. 65,000/- Per month (Consolidated)
Essential qualifications:
Management/ Food Science & Nutrition/ Microbiology/ Agribusiness Management/ Food

Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.
PhD degree will be an additional qualification.
Experience in New Product Development & Packaging.
2-3 years research experience in relevant field.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, basic knowledge in cereals processing machinery, postharvest
machinery, primary processing machinery, also able to handle incubation, startups, ability to
analyze data and documentation skills.
Knowledge on shelf life enhancement and packaging of millet value added products
Organize workshops, conferences, exhibitions, training programs and other such events to promote
the activities of the organization and the project.
Project reporting and documentation in terms of publishing research articles and popular literature
Proficiency in English, and sufficient knowledge in MS-Office and computer usage.
Willing to travel for field visits to micro processing units from various states
Prior experience in premier institutes such
advantage.
Terms & Conditions:
1. The above posts are purely temporary and on contractual basis till March 2025/expiry of the project.
2. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment/absorption in ICAR-IIMR, Hyderabad or
funding agency at the end of the project.
3. The age limit of above position is up to 40 years as on the date of interview. The relaxation in the upper
age limit is five years for SC/ST/women candidates and three years for OBC candidates as per rules.
4. Interested and eligible candidates may send their duly filled-in application form (as per the format-
Annexure I & II enclosed) with a photograph affixed on it and signed, along with CV,
qualification and experience certificates scanned copies as a single pdf to [email protected] on
or before 26.09.2024, 05:00 pm.
5. All the relevant original testimonials (date of birth, qualification certificates, experience certificates, etc., if
any) are to be shown and a set of attested copies of all the certificates will be required to be submitted by
the candidates for verification at the time of the interview. (No candidate will be interview if coming
without original certificate).
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
7. Report for walk-in registration from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the date of interview, candidate need to
wait till they are called/allowed to the meeting for the interview.
8. The decision of the Director, ICAR-IIMR is final and binding in all respects.
9. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
10. The selected candidate may have to join immediately.
