QA System Refresh – Cookbook

Preparation Before Refresh

Backup QA System:
1. Go to DB13.
2. Schedule immediate DataBackup.

Backup SAML2 configuration:

1. Go to SAML2.
2. Click Export Configuration.
3. Save as <INST_DIR>/SAML2QA

Backup SSL certificates:

1. Go to STRUST
2. Click on SSL Server Standard
3. Click PSE – Export
4. Save as <INST_DIR>/serverQA
 5. Click on SSL Client anonymous.
6. Click PSE – Export
7. Save as <INST_DIR>/anonymousQA

8. Click on SSL Client standard

9. Click PSE – Export
10. Save as <INST_DIR>/standardQA

QA Downtime
Perform System Refresh:
1. Login with admin user.
2. Go to <INST_DIR>\SWPM22 E:\install\SystemCopy\SWPM22
3. Run sapinst.exe as administrator.
4. Login with admin user and <master password>
5. Choose SAP S/4HANA 1709 – SAP S/4HANA Server – SAP HANA Database – System Copy
– Target System – Standard System – Based on AS ABAP – Refresh or Move Database
Instance.
6. Click Next.
7. In Parameter Settings, Choose Custom and click Next.
8. In Profile Directory, \\<ci_hostname>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\profile
9. Click Next.
10. In Master Password, type <master password> and click Next.
11. In Password for <sid>adm, type <master password>
12. In Password for SAPService<SID>, type <master password>
13. In SAP System Database, choose Homogeneous System Copy and click Next.
14. In Instance Number of the SAP HANA Database, type <HANA_Instance_number>
15. Go to HANA Studio.
16. For SYSTEMDB and <SID>: )‫)אין צורך‬
a. Open SQL Console for SystemDB and tenant
b. Alter user system activate user now;
17. Click Next.
18. In Password of SAP HANA Database Superuser, type <master password> and Click Next.
19. In Database System Administrator Password, type <master password> and Click Next.
20. In User SYSTEM, type <master password>
21. Click Next.
22. In Software Package Manager, choose <INST_DIR>\Upgrade and click Next – Next.
23. In Prerequisites Checker Results, Click Next – No.
24. In SAP HANA Multitenant Database Container, Click Next.
25. In Database Schema, Click Next.
26. In Database <sid>adm, type <sid>adm
27. In Database Password, type <master password>
28. Click Next.
29. In Database Recovery:
30. For SYSTEMDB and <SID> in PROD: ‫אין צורך‬
a. Open SQL Console for SystemDB and tenant
b. Alter user system activate user now;
31. Backup PROD tenant.
32. Copy backup to /usr/sap/<SID>/HDB*/backup/data/DB_<SID>
33. chmod 777 /usr/sap/<SID>/HDB*/backup/data/DB_<SID>/*
34. in Backup Location, type /usr/sap/<SID>/HDB01/backup/data/DB_<SID>
35. In Backup Name, type <BACKUP_PREFIX>
36. Click Next.
 37. In Action Before SAP System Start, mark Interrupt before Starting the SAP System and
Click Next.
38. In Password of DDIC user in client 000, type <master password>
39. Click Next.
40. Unmark Install SAP liveCache for SAP HANA and Click Next.
41. Stop SAP.
42. Stop PO.
43. Stop Gateway.
44. In Parameter Summary, Click Next.
45. In Message, change instance profile parameter rdisp/wp_run_btc to 0
46. Click OK
47. In Information, click OK.
48. Click Exit.

Lock Users in Newly Clients:

1. ### Lock users in source client:
a. Login to source client.
b. Go to SU10
c. Lock all dialog users except oferta

Stop Job Scheduling

1. Go to SE38
2. Execute report BTCTRNS1.

Truncate OS statistics tables:

1. Go to HANA Studio.
2. Login with SAPABAP1 user and <master password>
3. Open SQL Console.
4. Truncate table ALCONSEG;
5. Truncate table ALSYSTEMS;
6. Truncate table DBSNP;
7. Truncate table MONI;
8. Truncate table OSMON;
9. Truncate table PAHI;
10. Truncate table SDBAD;
11. Truncate table SDBAP;
12. Truncate table SDBAR;
13. Truncate table DDLOG;
14. Truncate table TPFET;
15. Truncate table TPFHT;
16. Truncate table TLOCK;
17. RZ10 Go to Utilities – Import Profile – Of Active Servers.

Install License:
1. Install License.
Generate System PSE:
1. Go to STRUST.
2. Click Change.
3. Right-click on System PSE – Replace.
4. Click Continue.
5. Click Save.

Change Logical System Name:

1. Login to SAP.
2. Go to BDLS.
3. In Old Logical System Name type HUPCLNT400
4. In New Logical System Name type <SID>CLNT<Client>
5. Unmark Test Run and Check Existence of New Names in Tables.
6. Click Execute.

Define FM RFCs:
1. Go to SM59.
2. Delete FINBTR@HUPCLNT4[1-6]0
3. Delete MDGTR@HUP CLNT4[1-6]0

Change all PROD RFC assignments:

1. Change all hosts from SM59 to old
2. Change YEN and YHE client to 330.

Setup Logon/RFC groups

1. Go to RZ12.
2. Change group assignments.
3. Go to SMLG.
4. Change group assignments.

Setup Transport System:

1. Login to client 000.
2. Go to STMS.
3. Click Save.
4. Type <master password>
5. Go to Transport Routes.
6. Click Configuration – Adjust with Controller.
7. Assign transport routes for newly clients

Assign batch workprocesses

1. Change back rdisp/wp_run_btc.
2. Restart SAP.
3. Click Import Profiles – From Active Servers.

Client Copy:
1. For each client: 300 330 600
a. Go to SCC4.
 b. Click Change – New Entries.
c. In Client, type <target_client_no>
d. In City, type Jerusalem.
e. In Client Role, type <client_role>
f. In Logical System, choose <SID>CLNT<Client_no>
g. Close client for changes.
h. Click Save.
i. Login to new client with user SAP* and password pass
j. Go to SCCL.
k. In Selected Profile, choose SAP_ALL
l. In Source Client and Source Client for users, choose <source client>
m. Click Start Immediately.
n. Click Wizard.
o. Click Continue.
p. In Password, type <master password>
q. Click Continue.
r. Click Complete.
s. Go to SM59.
t. Copy FINBTR@HUPCLNT000 to FINBTR@HUQCLNT000
u. Delete FINBTR@HUPCLNT000
v. Copy MDGTR@HUPCLNT400 to MDGTR@HUQCLNT400
w. Delete MDGTR@HUPCLNT400
x. Go to FINB_TR_DEST
y. Change <OLD_SID> to <NEW_SID>
z. Delete all other client’s records.
aa. Go to MDG_TR_DEST
bb. Change <OLD_SID> to <NEW_SID>
cc. Delete all other client’s records.
dd. Check users for RFCs MDGTR@HUPCLNT400 and FINBTR@HUQCLNT400
ee. Click Start Immediately.
ff. After client copies:
i. Go to SM59.
ii. Copy FINBTR@HUQCLNT400 to all clients and test authorization.
iii. Copy MDGTR@HUQCLNT400 to all clients and test authorization.
gg. Go to FINB_TR_DEST
hh. Create records for all clients.
ii. Go to MDG_TR_DEST
jj. Create records for all clients.
kk.

BW Post:
1. Go to BDLS
2. Change logical system HUQCLNT400 to HUQCLNT330.
3. Change logical system HUPCLNTBW to HUQCLNTBW.
4. Change logical system HUPCLNTCDS to HUQCLNTCDS.
Preparations for BW:
1. Go to SE37
2. Execute RS_MANDT_UNIQUE_SET
3. Type client 330
4. Execute.
5. Go to SM59
6. Copy HUPCLNT400 to HUQCLNT330
7. Copy HUPCLNTBW to HUQCLNTBW
8. Copy HUPCLNTCDS to HUQCLNTCDS
9. Change client in HUPCLNTBW, HUQCLNTBW, HUPCLNTCDS, HUQCLNTCDS
10. Go to RSA1
11. Click Check.

Configure Enterprise Search:

1. Login again to client 330
2. Go to STC01.
3. Type SAP_ESH_RESET and click Execute.
4. Change parameter
5. Mark Reset confirmed for this client
6. Click Save – Back.
7. Click Execute in Background.
8. Click Back.
9. Type SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_WRK_CLIENT and click Execute.
10. Click Manual Activities for first task.
11. Click Confirm.
12. Choose Parameter in Select Models for Create Connector.
13. Choose SAPAPPLH.
14. Click Save.
15. Click Back.
16. Click Parameters for Set TREX Destination.
17. Choose DEFAULT.
18. Click Save – Back.
19. Click Start/Resume Task List.
20. Click Background.

Setup Mail:
1. Go to SCOT.
2. Click on Internet.
3. Delete * in address area.
4. Add [email protected], *@savion.huji.ac.il, [email protected], uzi.zangi@ness-
tech.co.il, [email protected], [email protected], tal.nagar@ness-
tech.co.il, [email protected], [email protected]
5. Click Settings.
6. In Default Domain, type HUQ790.CC.HUJI.AC.IL
7. Click EMAIL.
 8. Click Change.
9. Change description.
10. Go to send job.
11. Schedule job for INT.

Restore SSL certificates:

1. Go to STRUST.
2. Click File.
3. Choose <INST_DIR>/serverQA
4. Click Save As – SSL Server.
5. Click Save
6. Click File.
7. Choose <INST_DIR>/standardQA
8. Click Save As – SSL Client.
9. Click Save

Restore SAML2 Configuration

1. Go to SAML2.
2. Click Delete Configuration.
3. Click Enable SAML2 – Import SAML2 Configuration.
4. Choose <INST_DIR>/SAML2QA

Preparation for Fiori Gateway:

1. Start Gateway.
2. Go to STC01.
3. Type SAP_SAP2GATEWAY_TRUSTED_CONFIG in the Task List field
4. Click Generate Task List Run.
5. Click Change Parameter in Create / Select ABAP RFC Destination to SAP System
6. In RFC Destination type <GW_SID>CLNT001.
7. In Target Server type <GW_hostname>.<domain>
8. In Instance No type 00.
9. Type EN in Language.
10. Type 001 in Client.
11. Click Save.
12. Click Exit.
13. Click Start/Resume Task List Run in Dialog.
14. Click Continue.
15. Type password.

Preparations for LTMC:

1. Go to DB02
2. Click DB Connections.
3. Expend SAP_HANA_Database
4. Click Add.
5. In Connection Name, type LTMC_330
6. In User Name, type LTMC_330
 7. In Password, type <password>
8. Mark permanent connection.
9. Delete Connection LTMC_400

Schedule DB Jobs:
1. Go to DB13.
2. Schedule databackup at 02:00
3. Schedule check at 03:00

Preparations for PO:

1. Start POQ.
2. Go to SM59.
3. Copy POP to POQ
4. Adjust POQ hostname
5. Copy POP_SLD to POQ_SLD
6. Adjust POQ_SLD
7. Adjust SAP_CIM_SRV_SAP_DEFAULT
8. Adjust SAP_PROXY_ESR
9. Copy SLD_DS_POP to SLD_DS_POQ
10. Adjust SLD_DS_POQ
11. Go to SXMB_ADM
12. Click Integration Engine Configuration.
13. Click Change
14. Change POP to POQ
15. Click Save.

Set Screen Info:

1. go to SE61
2. choose TX
3. choose ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO
4. Click Change.
5. Write a message

Preparations for Adobe:

1. Go to SM59.
2. Adjust ADS hostname.

Preparations for CUA:

1. Login to CUA.
2. Go to SCUA
3. Mark Child system.
4. Click Save selected System.
5. Go to SCUG
6. Click HUQCLNT330
7. Select all users.
8. Copy Roles to CUA.
 9. Copy Profiles to CUA.
10. Initial user ELLAME

Preparations for OT:

1. Open SQL Console
2. Truncate table TOA01;
3. Truncate table BDS_BAR_IN;
4. Truncate table BDS_BAR_EX;
