Leader from each group read the text aloud. Class repeats. 3.2 Focus word drills. Point and read the word aloud. Pupils match pictures and words. Then they read and spell. Step 4 4.1 Demonstrate the segmentation activity /b/. e.g. big - /b/i/g/ book /b/oo/k/ Pupils listen and repeat. 4.2 Group Drills Give each group a word to segment.
