Answer all the following questions
1. Draw different type of lines used in Engineering Drawing, describe them and write applications for each of them. 2. Write all the English alphabets in vertical upper case and 12 mm height. 3. Write the numerals 0 to 9 in vertical and 12 mm height. 4. Draw a straight line AB of any convenient length and hence draw five lines parallel to AB spaced at 10 mm apart from each other. (use compass and scale only). 5. Draw a straight line AB of any convenient length and from a point C on AB draw a perpendicular CD of length 50 mm. (use compass and scale only). 6. AB is a straight line of any convenient length. C is a point lying at shortest distance 60 mm from AB. Draw a perpendicular CD from C on AB (use compass and scale). 7. Draw a straight line AB of length 90 mm and divide this into 7 equal parts with the help of divider and scale. 8. Draw the following using compass , scale and protractor (a) An equilateral triangle of 60 mm each side (b) an isosceles triangle of base 53 mm and altitude 70 mm. (c) a square of side 50 mm each.
