Introduction Self-transcendence is an important aspect of personal growth and development, particularly among senior high school students. It involves moving beyond one's individual needs and concerns, and embracing a broader perspective that encompasses the well-being of others and a sense of purpose or meaning in life. Understanding the factors that influence self- transcendence among students can contribute to their overall well-being and enhance their ability to navigate everyday challenges. St. Augustine School of Nursing Lipa recognizes the significance of self-transcendence in the lives of its senior high school students. As they prepare for their future careers, the development of this ability becomes increasingly relevant. This research aims to explore the various factors that influence self-transcendence in everyday life among the students of St. Augustine School of Nursing Lipa Senior High School. The research will identify and examine several factors that play a role in the development of self-transcendence among these students. These factors may include individual characteristics, such as personality traits, self-esteem, and motivation. Additionally, social influences such as peer relationships, family support, and school environment will also be investigated. By understanding these factors, educators and stakeholders can implement effective strategies to foster self-transcendence among the students, ultimately enhancing their personal growth, well-being, and future success. In conclusion, exploring the factors that influence self-transcendence among senior high school students is crucial for their personal growth and development. This research will delve into the individual and social factors that contribute to self-transcendence among the students of St. Augustine School of Nursing Lipa. By gaining a deeper understanding of these factors, educators and stakeholders can implement effective strategies to foster self-transcendence and empower the students to lead meaningful and purposeful lives. According to Maslow, self-transcendence brings the individual what he termed “peak experiences” in which they transcend their own personal concerns and see from a higher perspective. These experiences often bring strong positive emotions like joy, peace, and a well-developed sense of awareness (Messerly, 2017). This research may provide valuable insights into the factors that contribute to self- transcendence among senior high school students at St. Augustine School of Nursing Lipa. This information can be used to develop targeted interventions and programs aimed at nurturing self-transcendence in everyday life. Ultimately, the goal is to empower the students to become compassionate, empathetic, and purpose-driven individuals, better equipped to serve their communities and make a positive impact in the future profession.
