from one place to another using a
vehicle or some form of conveyance.

Now, let’s proceed to different kinds of


transporting the victim. Before that, I want
you to find a partner and try to execute the
different techniques.
FIRE’S MAN CARRY
Everyone, stand up. Let’s focus first to One  The easiest way to transport a

 When the victim is conscious

PACK STRAP CARRY
 When the victim is smaller
than the first aider.

SHOULDER DRAG

 Used when first aider and
victim must crawl underneath
low structure.

LOVER’S CARRY
 Used to quickly move an
unconscious or conscious
casualty. Can be used to
move the casualty a moderate
or long distance.

BLANKET DRAG
 Used when the victim is
seriously injured and should
not be lifted.

Mechanics
 The student will group their
selves into five.
 The teacher will play an
indigenous song
 The students will dance to the
music. As the music stops,
the teacher will flash a
technique in carrying and
transporting a victim.
 The students will execute the
techniques on the Manila
paper. They only have 15
seconds to execute.
 As the timer stops, the
students will freeze. The
students who move and feet
outside the Manila paper will
be eliminated.
 Each round, they will fold the
Manila paper in half and
continue playing.
 Those who will remain freeze
and executed the correct
technique will be the winner.

difficult one is fire’s man drag
because you need to crawl.
