➢ Meteorology – The study of weather and climate.  Cloud Types – Clouds comes in many shapes, size and heights.
➢ Weather – The day to day condition of the atmosphere. It includes
temperature, precipitation, pressure and wind.
➢ Climate – The average weather conditions of a place taken over a
period of years.

➢ Factors that affect the weather.


 Temperature – A measure of how warm or cold it is.  Cloud Cover – The amount of the sky covered by clouds
 Measures temperature using “Themometer”.  Measured in eighths.
 Precipitation – Water in any form that falls to earth. It includes
rain, snow, sleet (ice) and hail (frozen rain).
