NARRATIVE REPORT
MPCLC (Module Pantry in Community Learning Centers)
Local Governments Unit’s Ordinances against COVID-19 pandemic do not let minors
go outside for they are very vulnerable to be infected by the virus, that is why in Modular
Distance Learning, parents should be the ones who will pick-up and submit the answer sheets
of students.
To adhere with the health protocols and to reduce the likelihood of transmission of the
virus, Project MPCLC (Module Pantry in Community Learning Centers) was proposed to
avoid the contact of person to person during the distribution of modules. The aim of this
project is to put-up a learning centers where learning kits are readily available for parents and
guardians for picking-up and submission of modules with ease and security that they will not
be infected of COVID-19.
Carolotan High School teachers selected and identified drop-off points in each purok
in Barangay Carolotan and in Barangay Canabay to give ease and safe place to learners in
picking-up/submitting their learning modules during the modular distance learning. To
control the spread of COVID-19, the students were provided with learning kits and hygiene
kits as well as pamphlets on the different health protocols.
This program will benefit the 196 students and their parents in the learning process
easing the monitoring of learning process by the 11 active teachers as well as the 2
nonteaching personnel of the school. This set-up will also help the community in limiting the
social/physical gathering which is also a part of preventing the spread of the corona virus.
This program is currently being implemented and within the school year, from
October to April 2021, the advisers and subject teachers will convene to discuss and evaluate
the activities conducted as well as present the expenditures and proceeds of the project.
Through a questionnaire and an interview, the group will gather feedback from the parents
and pupils regarding the implementation of the project.
