Step 5: For the home page content, I went to various sites to find a more detailed explanation
of cyberbullying for an overview of the topic.
I then came up with a good review of the topic and found some important information about
the topic that I needed my audience to know.
Step 6: I then designed the navigation bar and a footer. I started by adding all the different tabs
to the navigation menu. I also added all the different web pages as I planned to in the initial
design but I also affected the changes I need to make with some of the webpages. I then chose
a specific theme and added the navigation bar to the header of the home page
Step 7: For the about page content. I decided to look for good tips for the page
Home page
Step 8: I started by creating a suitable photo to accompany the title of the website
Step 9: I uploaded it to Wix and added it to my website
Step 10: Then I added the title ‘the helix project’
About page
Step 11: I started with the header strip where added the topic and then some text beneath.
Step 12: For the next strips, I chose a strip with an image on one side and text on the other
Contact page
Step 13 : I used a template layout that gave me my contact page, and with my creative skills i
was able to redesign it to fit teh perspective of the website.
Step 14: On the other strip, I created an image that show the choice clients have to contact me
in times of need
Step 15: I insert this photo into the web page
Book online
Step 16: I added a new webpage to the navigation bar and titled it Book Online for
clients to schedule a date with me to seek counsel on their situation. The request book
button allows clients to book meetings with me.
Criterion C: Creating the Solution - Development Process
C (iv) explains changes made to the chosen design and the plan when making the solution.
To attain the highest achievement level, your explanation must include a rationale/justification
for the changes made.
To plan
● Due the mid-sem break, I did my best to move some of the aesthetics and testing phase
to later during the break
● Changing the About page content (goal, mission, targets)- Instead of having one section
specifically for my goals for the website and others for my target and mission, I decided
to put all of them into one main section. I did this because I thought that the goals
targets and mission were quite similar and I was going to be better and it was also going
to save space and prevent any extra scrolling.
● Moving the major testing to criterion D and only partial testing to criterion C.
● I also added an extension called Book Online to improve the interaction between the
user and the website. Also, since the main way for a user to contact me was the contact
page, i decided to add it as a means for the user to easily contact and voice out all
concerns especially if it has to do with the website design.
● The website theme- The theme of the website was made blue, thus blue is known as a
very versatile colour and conveys a high sense of calmness and maturity as the target
audience is not children but teenagers.
● Resources- Links and videos were not attached to the website hence it could lead to
complexity and high maintenance and complexity in the sense that it includes keeping
track of updates and making sure each and every link is compatible with every device as
well as ensuring all the resources work properly.
