Step 1: Cisco Get Connected Course
• Duration: Up to 30 hours
• Requirement: Achieve an 80% pass mark
• Deadline: Must be completed by Wednesday 21st August
• Details: This is a beginner-level course covering digital basics. If you don't achieve
80% on your first attempt, you can retake the test until you pass.

How to set-up your Cisco Networking Academy Account:
1. This will bring you to the Self Enrol Page.
2. Please enter your First and Last name as well as your email address
3. Upon clicking submit, you will receive an email to activate your account
o TIP – Save this email as it contains some useful information regarding your
account details
2. Once you have activated your account, you will be brought to the Cisco Networking
Academy sign-in screen where you will be asked to create a Username and Password
for your Cisco Networking Academy account.
3. You will then be prompted to fill in a number of other personal details
4. Once completed, you are good to go!
Please be sure to follow the quick 2 minute tutorial which guides you through the Cisco
Networking Academy portal and provides some useful tips for navigating the course.
Navigating your Cisco Networking Academy Future In Tech - Get Connected course portal:
● Note that there are 5 modules for your completion. Each module includes a lesson as
well as a test.
● You must complete the test for each module and obtain an 80% grade.
● Once you have completed all 5 modules and have obtained an 80% grade in all tests,
you will be asked to complete the:
1. End of Course Feedback
2. End of Course Assessment
It is crucial that you complete BOTH of the last steps. The completion of the ‘End of
Course Assessment’ is signalled to us and you will then be able to progress to the
next stage; the Aptitude Test. We will send the Aptitude test when we get the signal
that you have completed the Get Connected Course
To access the module lesson, follow the below steps:
A separate window will then open to complete the module lesson
To access the module test:
Once you have completed the module test, click the ‘next’ button at the bottom of your
screen to go to the next module.
Having completed all 5 modules, you will then be asked to complete the:
1. End of Course Feedback
2. End of Course Assessment (80% grade required)
Remember you must complete Get Connected by 21st August 2024
