Directions (Q. 1 – 3): Study the following arrangement carefully and answer the questions given below:
In a certain language,
7) In a certain code language, “Program is super” is coded as “217 693 472”, “Super Art” is
coded as “693 238”, “He learns program” is coded as “217 479 624”, then what is the sum
of the code for “Program Art”?
A. 696
B. 689
C. 1103
D. 910
E. 455
Direction (8-9): Study the information given below, and answer questions based on it.
Step I: If an odd number is followed by an odd number, then the result will be the addition of both
numbers.
Step II: If an odd number is followed by an even number, then the result will be the subtraction of
the smaller number from the large number.
Step III: If an even number that is divisible by 4 is followed by an odd number, then the results will
be the multiplication of two numbers.
Step IV: If an even number is followed by an even number, then the result will be the addition of
both numbers.
Step V: If an even number is followed by an odd number, then the results will be the subtraction of
the smaller number from the large number.
8) Find the sum of the resultant of the first and second row.
Row 1: 10 5 3 7 1
Row 2: 8 14 7 2 9
a) 59
b) 78
c) 63
d) 84

i. If the first and fourth elements are an alphabet, then both are coded as the code for the first symbol.
ii. If the first element is an odd number and last element is consonant, then both are coded as last element.
iii. If the first element is a vowel and the last element is a symbol, then the codes for both letters will be
coded as the code for the later.
iv. If no condition is applying then, The alphabet are to be written as 1- 9 (like A is coded as 1, B as 2………..I
as 9, J as 1 and so on) and the remaining elements are to be coded as the given code.
