1. Recall the first time you engaged in a public oral presentation. What were the
different factors that you considered at that time? Relate how challenging it was for
you especially when viewed by different kinds of audiences. Share your experience.

The foundations of efficacious communication are the constant dialogue with
stakeholders and audiences, and the transparency of ties and obligations.

1. The first time I engaged in a public oral presentation, I considered factors such as
audience engagement, clarity of content, body language, and timing. It was challenging,
especially with diverse audiences, as I had to adapt my delivery style to ensure everyone
could understand and connect with the message. One memorable experience was
presenting to a group with varying levels of expertise in the topic, requiring me to strike a
balance between depth and accessibility in my explanations.

2. a. Openness and dialogue: This communication code of ethics is applicable in a situation


where a team is brainstorming ideas for a project. Encouraging openness allows everyone
to freely express their thoughts and opinions, fostering dialogue to generate innovative
solutions.
b. Honesty: In a business negotiation, honesty is crucial to build trust and maintain
integrity. Being truthful about products, services, or terms helps establish a solid
foundation for a mutually beneficial agreement.
c. Reliability: When coordinating schedules for a group meeting, reliability ensures that
everyone can depend on each other to attend at the agreed-upon time. It involves
honoring commitments and following through on promises.
d. Respectfulness: During a debate or discussion, respectfulness is essential in
maintaining a constructive atmosphere. It involves listening attentively, refraining from
personal attacks, and valuing diverse perspectives.
