I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:
1. identify what is imagery;
2. explain the different types of imagery;
3. give examples of imagery; and
4. use imagery to perform varied activities.

III. PROCEDURE
A. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES
1. PRAYER
Everybody is requested to please stand for a prayer.
In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Amen.
2. GREETINGS
Good morning, class! Good morning, Ma’am Leizyl!
We’re glad to see you this morning.
I am glad to see you too.
3. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
Before you take your seats, kindly pick up the pieces of paper
and arrange your chairs properly. After that, you may now take
your seats. (Students take their seats.)
4. CHECKING OF ATTENDANCE
Class monitor, kindly check the attendance. (Class monitor is checking the attendance.)
5. CLASS RULES
I have here class rules that I want you to follow throughout the
entire lesson. Everybody read: 1. I will listen to the discussion and I will
participate in the group activities.
2. I will speak English as much as I can.
3. I will not use mobile phones and other
gadgets in the classroom during
discussion unless necessary.
4. I will respect the opinions of my
classmates.
5. I will not speak bad words.
6. REVIEW
Before we proceed to our new lesson, let us have first a recap
about our previous discussion. This is for me to find out if you
really understood our topic last meeting.
What was our lesson last meeting? Our lesson last meeting was all about the
Elements of Fiction.
Very good! So, what are the Elements of Fiction? The elements of fiction are Characters,
Setting, Point of View, Plot, Conflict, and
Theme.
Okay, it’s good to know that you really understood our lesson
last meeting. I think you are now ready for our new lesson.
7. MOTIVATION
Class, let us have a game titled “Solve and Guess.” What you are
going to do is to solve the math problem and guess the word that
corresponds to the number code.

B. ACTIVITY
Now for your activity, I have here pictures. Observe the
pictures carefully. Afterwards, I will be asking some
questions.

What sense do we used when we hear sounds?
A perfume, Ma’am.
In picture number 3, what is it?
We use it to spray to our body to avoid odor.
How do we use a perfume?

What sense do we use in smelling?
Those are foods.
How about in picture number 4? What is it?
We eat foods.
When there is food, what do we do?
We taste it.
Before eating foods, what we usually do?
Sense of taste
What sense do we use in tasting?
It is an ice cubes, Ma’am.
In the last picture number 5, what is it?
Ice cube is cold.
How would you describe an ice cube?
We feel it or we touch it.
In order to know that it is cold, what do we do with it?
Sense of touch

D. ABSTRACTION
Our lesson for today is about Imagery.

use our lesson for today which is Imagery. This will be the
Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Group 4, and Group 5.
