CHESS Rules - Based FIDE Law

1. King Move
2. Touch Move, Touch Down
3. First to move - White
4. Time combee -Whid by the TM using chess clock (Maximum 25 minutes)
No Time Left means Loss even if the player is in advantage with board or
pieces. It is not necessary to have a complete scoresheet to win on time in a
non-sudden death time control. Calling your own flag to prevent the
opponent from filling in moves on an incomplete score sheet won't help.
5. Notation - Need to record the move of the opponent. player
6. Contrast color for king position - Black King to white square/position and
White King to black square/ position.
7. Pawn Promotion - Declare to which the pawn will be promoted before
8. Castling, the player must touch the king first. If the player touches the
rook first, castling with that rook is not allowed, and the touch move rule
is applied to the rook.
9. Queen - maximum of nine (if all pawn still on the board.

Note that the Laws of Chess consider moving using both hands or pressing
the clock without having made a move to be an illegal move.
If the player moves a pawn to the last rank and presses the clock without
replacing the pawn with a promotion piece, the player has completed an
illegal move
14. There is no limit how far back in the game an illegal move may be
corrected
15. Round robin based on the number of players
16. Player can surrender during the game.
17. Arbiter can only attend to the need or protest of the player if right
hand was raised. Other than that arbiter has nothing to say nor coach
the players.
18. Tie Breaker - Number of wins - The player with the highest total
number of
wins breaks the tie. Number of wins with black - The player with the highest
number of wins with the black pieces breaks the tie. Direct encounter - If
any players are still tied at this point, and all tied players have played
against each other in the tournament, then the player with the most points
out of those games is the winner.
19. For Clustered Qualifier - The First of Board A player will automatically
qualified while for the Board B player will do the eross game play with the
Second Place Player of Board A and First Place of Board B. The player won in
the game will represent the Board B as Clustered Qualifier...

Buchholz – adding together the scores of each player you played

Sonnenborn-berger – adding the final scores of opponents that the

etc)
Number of wins - The player with the highest total number of wins
breaks the tie.
Number of wins with black - The player with the highest number of wins
with the black pieces breaks the tie.
Direct encounter - If any players are still tied at this point, and all tied
players have played against each other in the tournament, then the player
with the most points out of those games is the winner.
