PRELIMINARIES

Gender is one way to structure power, but access to power differs depending on a person’s disability status, income,
education, faith, race, ethnicity, sexuality, age, migration status, and other social markers.
GEDSI analysis identifies how social norms, relations and power dynamics affect people's access to development
assistance based on their gender, disability and social inclusion.

To our beloved School Head, Mr. Brendan B. Destacamento, fellow teachers and and non- teaching staff of Teresita C.
Young Memorial High School, our warm greetings to each and everyone. I am Aliza Marie Toledo- Regala
and I am Ricarte Dela Cruz Ferrer.
We are your moderator for today’s event.
Today is not just a wonderful day, but we will also make it a day full of learnings and excitement as we are gathered here
to participate in our school based Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion program.
To fomally start this program, may I request everyone to stand for the opening prayer to followed by singing of
Nationalistic Song

PART I

You may now take your seat. At this moment, let us lend our ears to our beloved School Head, Mr. Brendan B.
Destacamento to deliver his welcome message as well as the statement of purpose for today’s program.. A big round of
applause please.
Thank you so much Sir for the warm and wonderful greetings and for giving us the overview of what to look forward for
today’s event
To introduce our subject matter expert for this morning, may we request Ma’am Janeth M. Lupango, a JHS Teacher and a
GFPS Member.
Thank you ma’am, without much further ado, to enlighten us on the aspects of Women in Technology: Closing the
Gender Gap, I will give the floor to Teacher Brenda Loraine L. Bulalacao, JHS Teacher, GFPS member. A big round of
applause please.
Thank you Ma’am Brenda for sharing to us your knowledge and expertise. That was indeed insightful and relevant
presentation. Your thoughts are going to stay with all of us.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have now come to the most interactive and exciting part of the program: the question and
answer session. This is your opportunity to ask any questions or make any comments that you have for our speaker. She
is eager to hear from you and to respond to your queries and feedback.
At this juncture, May we request our School Head Sir Brendan B. Destacamento to award the certificate of appreciation
to Ma’am Brenda Loraine L. Bulalacao.
This time, we encourage everyone to participate in the Panel Discussions with our knowledgeable panelist. We have 15
minutes presentation for each panelist, so please make the most of it during discussions.
To present us his knowledge about the topic, may we call in Teacher John Rommel R. Morado, our school Bookeeper and
a GFPS member,
Thank you Teacher Mac for sharing us your knowledge.

Lastly, to share us his Know-How about the topic, we have sir Reniel M. Espaldon, a JHS teacher and a GFPS member.

At this moment, we would like to request Ma’am Brenna Mae L. Bulalaco for the awarding of certificates and photo op
with the panelist.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have come to the end of the first part of our program, I hope you have enjoyed and learned a
lot from our speaker and panelist.

Exquisite afternoon, everyone and Mabuhay! I am hopeful that you had your fill of a
sumptuous lunch, indulged yourselves in a quick chat with your workmates and pampered yourselves for our afternoon
session. Let us now proceed to the second part of our program.

May we request Ma’am Geneva B. Cutamora to help us become active again. And right after that, she will introduce the
first Subject Matter Expert that will give us the first topic this afternoon.

Hello! Hi! I hope everyone is still there alive and kicking as we are about to land to the last topic of this program and to
