1 What is projection? Explain types of projection


What are the difference between first angle projection and third angle projection.

A point is 30 mm from the H.P. and 50mm from V.P. Draw its projection keeping it in all Possible positions.

A line AB 80mm long has end A at a distance of 20mm above the H.P. & 40 mm infront of the V.P. the line is inclined at 30 degree
4 to the H.P. and parallel to the V.P. draw the projection of line.

An electric switch and a bulb fixed on a wall are 5m apart .the distance between them measured parallel to the floor is 4m. if the
5 switch is 1.5m above the floor . find the height of the bulb to the floor and inclination of line joining the two with the floor.

A line AB 120mm long is inclination at 450 to H.P. and 300 to the V.P. Its midpoint C is in V.P. and 20mm above H.P. The end A is in

the third quadrant and B is in the first quadrant. Draw the projection of the line.
Front view of a line AB measures 100mm. The projectors through its V.T. and the end A are 40mm apart. The end A is 30mm above

the H.P. and 20mm in front of V.P. the V.T. is 10mm in front of V.P. Draw the projection of line
A line AB 60mm long makes an angle of 450 to the V.P. & 300 to the H.P. Draw the projection and determines its traces when the

9 The Front view of a line AB measures 100mm long is measure 80mm.The line is inclined to VP and parallel to the HP. The end A
is 30mm above the H.P. and 20mm in front of V.P. Draw the projection of line.
10 The length of the top view of a line parallel to the V.P. and inclined at 45 degree to the H.P. is 50mm. One end of the line is 12 mm
above the H.P. & 25mm infront of the V.P. draw the projection of line.
