(5) Study Plan (within 500 words)
Note: Certified copies of the above certificates in English wherever necessary must be submitted.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

1. A Foreign National seeking admission to a course under an exchange program in University of


Delhi is required to send his/her application in the prescribed Application Form.
2. The Application Forms are available with the Office of International Relations, University of Delhi.
3. Application Form should be filled neatly and legibly in English only by the applicant in his / her
own hand writing in BLOCK LETTERS.
4. The applicant should write his/ her name, father’s name, mother’s name as given in the School
Certificate of Board / University.
5. No column should be left blank in the Application Form. Incomplete Application Forms will be
summarily rejected.
6. Latest passport size coloured photograph should be affixed in the box provided.
7. The Application Form should be attested by the Higher Authorities of the Home University.
8. Photocopies of Certificates and copy of syllabi as mentioned in the Application Form should be
enclosed. If admitted, the student will be required to produce original certificates/ documents.
9. English is the medium of instruction in most Colleges and Departments of University of Delhi. A
good knowledge of English is essential for successful completion of a course of study.
10. There is limited availability of Hostel accommodation in University of Delhi. Therefore, students
should be prepared to stay in rented accommodation outside the campus.
