Course Title: Remedial Course for Arabic Language

Content Week

Week 1 : Introduction to Arabic points of Articulations

Week 2: Writing letters with varied word places (beginning, middle, and end )

Week 3: Introduction to the Naughty Letters ( non connecting letters, they can

only join other letters from the right side.

Week 4:Introduction for short vowel sounds and tanween (Tashkeel which is

the phonetic guide for the right pronunciation for the letters and the words),
Sokoon, Shaada

Week 5: Long Vowels - Mad means to elongate something or make it longer

Week 6: Hamzah and diverse shapes , Hamzah on Alif, Hamzah on the line,

Hamzah on Waw, Hamzah on Yaa’a or Nabira ( Two shapes in the middle, at

the end) . Rules of writing the right hamzah

Week 7: Linking letters, reading, and writing

Week 8: Introduction to the three basic components of the word (Kalimah),

noun, verb, and conjunction. Preposition:

Week 9: Single, Dual, and Plural Nouns

Teachers add additional lines under the categories to list information.

Videos, work sheets, Flashcards and memory games, Letter crafts,


Repetition and practice, mnemonic devices and positive reinforcement with
praising and intensives.

the majority of students lack the necessary foundation of the Arabic
language, including the alphabetical letters.

quarters.
