Procedure Microneedling
1) Inform the patient regarding microneedling (what it is, how it works, expected side effects). Make
sure all questions are answered.
2) Ask the patient to sign a consent form.
3) Ask the patient to wash their faces (make-up free).
4) Wear gloves.
5) Apply local anesthesia on the face and/or neck and wait for at least 30 minutes.
6) Prepare the exosomes. Wipe the top with alcohol swab, draw the provided diluent. Mix and make
sure all powder residue is dissolved.
7) Prepare the microneedle pen. Open a new cartridge packet and attach to the microneedle pen,
cartridge size based on skin concern.
a) 9-pin or 12-pin- acne scar, wrinkles and fine lines, rosacea, hyperpigmentation
b) 16-pin or 24-pin- acne scar, wrinkles and fine lines, collagen induction,
hyperpigmentation
c) 36-pin or 42-pin- hydration, enlarged pores, stretch marks (ideal for body- legs, stomach,
arms)
8) Wipe off the anesthesia. Check if the patient is numb.
9) Place a few drops of the exosome at a time and run the microneedling pen of the face and neck.
2-4 passes per area is allowed (vertical, horizontal then diagonal in both directions)
10) Depth guide:
a) 0.5mm- acne scars, wrinkles, scalp
b) 1mm- acne scars, deep scars, shallow stretch marks, cellulite, scalp
c) 1.5mm- stretch marks for 3-4 sessions before going deeper
11) Areas:
0.25mm 0.5mm 0.75mm 1mm 1.5mm 2mm 2.5mm

12) Apply hyaluronic acid to help calm the skin and lessen irritation
13) Apply sunblock (if still sunny outside). Give the patient appropriate after care instructions.
