Dear guests, teachers, parents, fellow students and friends a wonderful morning and
welcome to the opening ceremony of our intramurals this school year 2024-2025.

Today, marks the beginning of our week-long activity.

To begin with let’s all rise for the prayer to be led by ____________________ and please
stay on your feet for the singing of the Pambansang awit to be conducted by
_______________________ and the singing of the ________________ Hymn and the school
hymn.

To officially open this morning’s event, let’s give a resounding applause to


_______________, Principal II for his words of welcome.

Thank you Sir.

Commencing the games with the lighting of the torch has been a tradition.

And ladies and gentlemen, the torch that symbolizes peace, unity, friendship,
tolerance and hope will be lighted by, no other than, _______________________, a track
and field athlete.

Thank you and may the flames that symbolize its message keep on burning in our
hearts as we participate in Intramurals 2024.

The mark of great sportsmen is not how good they are at their best, but how good
they are at their worst.

Real winners are those who know how to persevere and behave with dignity —
whether they win or lose a game.

And to show our commitment in exercising all these, let’s have ______________________,
Supreme Student Government President to lead us in our oath of sportsmanship.

OATH OF SPORTMANSHIP

Please raise your right hand and repeat after me. We, the athletes, representing the
different curriculum participating in the School Intramural 2024 of
_____________________ School, do hereby declare that we are amateurs and do pledge
ourselves to compete in the games in the spirit of true sportsmanship. So help me
God.

Thank you, may we value and show good sportsmanship by respecting our
teammates, opponents, and officials from the beginning of the activity ‘til it ends.

Humility and camaraderie are developed during competitions. And since everyone is
ready tocul tivate these, I’d like to request the president of every council and of
course, our dynamic principal __________________ to be here in front for the symbolic
tossing of the friendship ball.

May every one of us bear in our minds and our hearts the main reasons why we are
participating in this year’s intramurals.
It is evident that each one is excited for the games and competitions.

competitions bring and be winners with hearts and brains.
