2. Work in small groups.

1. What is organic food?

Organic foods are products that are grown, processed and transformed in an
environmentally safe way. For agricultural products are products grown without
the use of most common pesticides, using artificial fertilizers, sewage sludge,
radiation and genetically modified organisms. For animal meat, organisms or
hormones are not injected.
2. Do you eat organic food? Why or Why not?
Yes, I love to eat that. Because eating organic foods is good for your health

and the environment. They often contain higher levels of antioxidants and
certain micronutrients, such as vitamin C, zinc and iron. In fact, antioxidant
levels can be up to 69% higher in these foods. So the organic food is right up
my alley.

3. Which of the photos in Ex 1 relate to oganic food?

Photos 3, 4 and 5.

4. How important are these points when you choose food to eat?
I think it's quite important because when buying food we need to know if
we have the financial means and whether the taste, freshness, packaging,
product quality and origin are as expected.

Reading
1. You are going to read a magazine article about organic food. First, read the
title and the subheading, then discuss what you expect to read about in the
rest of the article.

I think eating organic foods is the most optimal method because it helps
human health and the environment. What I expect is that the world will
gradually use natural farming methods and avoid the use of pesticides and
artificial products which promote growth that are toxic to crops and livestock.

Food is a natural product, and the health value of different foods will vary,
including freshness, the way the food is cooked, the type of soil it is grown in,
the amount of sunlight and rain crops have received, and so on. The differences

created by these things are likely to be greater than any differences brought
about by using an organic or non-organic system of production

Describe a meal that you enjoyed eating in a restaurant.
You should say:
where the restaurant was

eating the meal so much. meal I enjoyed where the restaurant was what I ate
who ate with me why I enjoyed the meal

Today, I'm going to talk about a meal I particularly enjoyed at my favorite

local restaurant. Especially today, my friends and I went to eat a sumptuous
New Year's Eve meal.
It is near my hometown in Đồng Nai. Even though it's just a small province,
at night the surrounding area is very crowded and bustling. And especially
inside the restaurant, it is arranged very solemnly.
It's a french restaurant and the food is not too expensive for students.
There are a lot of delicious foods there like seafood soup, breadsticks and
steak. For a student, these dishes are quite fussy, but it's worth it to eat a
delicious meal with friends.
The reason i enjoyed the meal so much because it was a cozy meal with my
friends, the dish was decorated grandly and there was a nice atmosphere in
the restaurant. Even though it’s just a meal, it brings many new experiences
and emotions when being with my close friends in a luxurious place like
this, making me want to relish the meal even more.
