Script – London Tour

Scene 1:
[Bakery – Ian, Rafael, Kaique and Theodoro are sitting at a table waiting for the other
actors.]

Ian: I think the guys are late, right?

Rafael: Yeah, they must be stuck in traffic.
Kaique: We could have ordered something to get ahead…
Theodoro: Let's wait a little longer, they shouldn't be long.

[Matheus and Isa rush in.]

Matheus: Sorry I'm late, the traffic was crazy!

Isa: Really, it was a struggle getting here.
Matheus: Have you ordered anything yet?
Ian: Not yet, we were waiting for you.
Rafael: Shall we call the waiter?

[Ian signals to the waiter. The waiter arrives at the table.]

Waiter (Japa): Good afternoon, everyone! Do you know what you're going to have?
Kaique: I think so. I'll have a coffee with milk and a toasted sandwich.
Theodoro: For me, an orange juice and a toast.
Matheus: I'll have a cappuccino and a sandwich.
Isa: An iced tea and a slice of carrot cake, please.
Waiter (Japa): Okay, noted! I'll be right back with the orders.

[The waiter leaves to get the orders.]

Ian: So, are you excited for the trip?

Rafael: Awesome! I can't wait to get there.
Kaique: Me too! I wonder if the hotel is as good as they say.
Theodoro: I saw great reviews online, but we'll only know when we get there.
[The waiter returns with the orders and starts serving the table.]

Waiter (Japa): Here are your orders. Enjoy your meal!

Matheus: Thank you very much.
Isa: I think this trip will be unforgettable.

[They continue chatting excitedly while enjoying their orders.]

Scene 2:

[Airport – Ian, Rafael, Kaique, and Theodoro arrive at the airport with their bags.]

Ian: We arrived with plenty of time. Now we just have to wait for the others.
Rafael: Are they coming together?

[Kaique's phone rings. Kaique answers.]

Kaique: Hello? Oh, hi, Matheus! Where are you?... What? Seriously?... I see. Okay, let's see what we
can do around here while we wait. See you later.
Theodoro: What happened?
Kaique: Matheus said that they had some problems with traffic, but that they will arrive soon
Rafael: Ah ok, then let's go ahead.
Ian: Yeah, right. Let’s each do our check-in and then drop our bags off.
Rafael: Sounds good. I'll go first!

[They go to check-in]

Attendant (Luiz): Good morning, everyone! How’s the trip going so far? May I see your passport and
ticket, please?

[Rafael hands over the documents.]

Attendant (Luiz): Thanks, Rafael. So, are you heading to London for a vacation or business?
Rafael: Just a vacation!
Attendant (Luiz): That sounds fantastic. London is such a vibrant city. Do you have any specific
places you're excited to visit?
Rafael: Definitely looking forward to seeing the British Museum and maybe catching a show in the
West End.
Attendant (Luiz): Great choices! And don't forget to take a stroll along the Thames if you get a
chance. Here’s your boarding pass. Your boarding gate is 12, and boarding starts in 1 hour. Any other
questions about your trip?
Rafael: No, that’s all. Thanks!
Attendant (Luiz): You’re welcome! Have a wonderful trip.

[Ian approaches the counter.]

Attendant (Luiz): Morning! Let me have your passport and ticket, please.

[Ian hands over the documents.]

Attendant (Luiz): Thanks! Are you visiting London for the first time or is it a return trip?
Ian: It’s my first time!
Attendant (Luiz): Exciting! London has so much to offer. Any must-see spots on your list?
Ian: I’m definitely planning to visit the Tower of London and maybe do some shopping at Harrods.
Attendant (Luiz): Great picks! Make sure to check out the views from the London Eye if you have
time. Here’s your boarding pass. Your gate is 12, and boarding begins in 1 hour. If you need any tips
or recommendations, feel free to ask.
Ian: Will do, thanks!
Attendant (Luiz): Have a fantastic time in London!

[Kaique steps up.]

Attendant (Luiz): Hi! Passport and ticket, please.

[Kaique hands over the documents.]

Attendant (Luiz): Thanks! Are you traveling to London for a special occasion or just for fun?
Kaique: Just for fun, actually.
Attendant (Luiz): Nice! London is perfect for that. Are you planning to visit any particular landmarks or
neighborhoods?
Kaique: I’m looking forward to exploring Camden Market and maybe visiting the Natural History
Museum.
Attendant (Luiz): Both are great choices! Camden Market is vibrant and eclectic, and the Natural
History Museum is fascinating. Here’s your boarding pass. Gate 12, boarding starts in 1 hour. Have a
blast!
Kaique: Thanks a lot!
Attendant (Luiz): Enjoy your trip!

[Theodoro approaches the counter.]

Attendant (Luiz): Hello! May I see your passport and ticket?

[Theodoro hands over the documents.]

Attendant (Luiz): Thanks! Is this your first time in London, or are you a seasoned traveler there?
Theodoro: It’s my first time.
Attendant (Luiz): That’s exciting! Do you have any specific activities planned or are you going to
explore and see where the city takes you?
Theodoro: I’m planning to visit Buckingham Palace and maybe take a day trip to Stonehenge.
Attendant (Luiz): Excellent choices! Buckingham Palace is a must-see, and Stonehenge is an
amazing day trip. Here’s your boarding pass. Gate 12, boarding starts in 1 hour. If you have any
questions or need recommendations, don’t hesitate to ask.
Theodoro: Will do. Thanks!
Attendant (Luiz): Have a fantastic trip and enjoy London!

[Theodoro takes the boarding pass and rejoins the group.]

Ian: Alright, check-in done. Let’s head to security.

[They walk toward the security checkpoint.]

Theodoro: We’ve checked in, dropped off our bags... Now just the security check left.

[They go through the security check one by one.]

Rafael: (relieved) Phew, I always get a little tense at this part.

Ian: But now we’re all set. Time to head to the gate.

[They head to the boarding gate.]

Kaique: Next stop: London!
Theodoro: London, here we come!

[They smile eagerly as they board the plane.]

Scene 2.1
[Airport – Matheus and Isa arrive at the airport running to the boarding gate.]

Security Guard (Oscar): You cant pass now!!! The boarding gate is closed now, you arrived too late
and will need to wait the next flight.
Isa: No please, we really need to join this flight
Matheus: We were stuck in the traffic, it wasnt our fault.
Security Guard (Oscar): I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about it, all you can do is to wait the next
flight.

[Matheus is calling Theodoro]

Matheus: Hey theodoro, sadly we were unable to arrive on time, and we cant board in the flight.
Isa: I cant belive this is happenning to us. I was so excited to this trip!

[They sit and wait for the next flight]

Scene 3

[Plane – Ian, Rafael, Kaique and Theodoro have boarded and are settling into their
seats.]

Theodoro: Hey, Matheus and Isa just called me, they said they didn't arrive on time, and they're going
to catch the next flight.
Ian: Wow, what a shame!
Ian: Damn, we got a great seat, right next to the window!
Rafael: Yeah, perfect for watching the scenery during the flight.
Kaique: I love window seats! We'll see everything when we land.

[Theodoro, who is sitting further forward, alone and next to an inconvenient passenger.]

Theodoro: That's so sad i can't get a sitting next to my friends.

Passenger (Japa): (to Theodoro) Hi! Did you know that these planes are the safest? But, you know, I
always get a little nervous during takeoff... And also, I once read that...
Theodoro: (trying to be polite) Oh, that's interesting...

[The passenger keeps talking incessantly, while Theodoro tries to hide his discomfort.]

Theodoro: (thinking) This is going to be a long flight...

[Meanwhile, Ian, Rafael and Kaique are arguing through the window.]

Ian: You can see the clouds forming down there!

Rafael: Wow, it's beautiful! I want to see it when we pass over the sea.
Kaique: Hey, let me see it too! It doesn't take up the whole window, Ian!
Ian: Calm down, there's room for everyone!

[The plane begins the descent process.]

Theodoro: (looking through the window of the inconvenient passenger) Looks like we're getting there.
Passenger (Japa): Ah, this is the part where I get most nervous... The last time I flew, the landing was
so long that I almost... (continues speaking)
Theodoro: (forcing a smile) Everything will be fine.

[The plane starts to land, the other three friends are excited.]

Rafael: Look, we can see London down there!

Kaique: That's awesome! We're finally here!
Ian: I can't wait to explore the city.

[The plane touches the ground, completing the landing successfully.]

Ian: There we are!
Rafael: Bring on London!
Kaique: Let's make this trip the best ever!

Scene 4:

[Immigration Control – Ian, Rafael, Kaique and Theodoro are in line for immigration
control at London airport.]

Rafael: Finally in London! Now we just need to go through immigration and we're free to explore.
Kaique: Will it take long? I can't wait to get out of here.
Theodoro: I hope it's quick, I'm already tired from this flight.

[Ian smiles as he watches the others go through immigration before him.]

[Rafael is the first to be served.]

Immigration Officer (Oscar): Good morning. Reason for your trip?

Rafael: Tourism. I'm here with friends.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): Great. How many days do you plan to stay?
Rafael: A week.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): Okay, welcome to London. Next!

[Rafael goes through, followed by Kaique and Theodoro, who go through the process quickly.]

Immigration Officer (Oscar): Morning. Reason for your trip?

Kaique: Tourism, I’m with my friends.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): How many days do you plan to stay?
Kaique: One week.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): Right, welcome to London. Next!
[Theodoro approaches.]

Immigration Officer (Oscar): Morning. Reason for your trip?

Theodoro: Tourism, I’m with my friends.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): How many days do you plan to stay?
Theodoro: One week.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): Right, welcome to London. Next!

[Ian is the last.]

Immigration Officer (Oscar): Good morning. Reason for your trip?

Ian: Tourism, I'm traveling with friends.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): How long will you be staying?
Ian: One week.
Immigration Officer (Oscar): Do you have the hotel reservations?
Ian: Yes, here they are.

[Ian shows the reservations to the officer.]

Immigration Officer (Oscar): All right. Welcome to London.

[Ian thanks him and joins the others who are already waiting in the exit area.]

Kaique: Okay, everyone's through!

Theodoro: Let's get our bags and get out of here.

[They head to the baggage claim area, get their bags and head for the exit.]

Rafael: I'll call a taxi.

[Rafael uses his cell phone to call a taxi.]

Ian: I can't wait to get to the hotel and start exploring the city.
Theodoro: London, here we come!

[They walk out the front door, ready to start the adventure.]

Scene 5:

[Outside the airport – Ian, Rafael, Kaique and Theodoro wait for the taxi that was
called.]

[The taxi arrives and stops in front of them.]

Driver (Luiz): (smiling) Good afternoon! Where are we going?

Rafael: To our hotel, please. [Gives the driver the address.]

[They get into the taxi and put their bags in the trunk.]

[SCENE: Inside the taxi – They are chatting animatedly during the ride.]

Ian: London looks even more amazing than in the pictures!

Kaique: I can't wait to see it up close.

[SCENE: Arriving at the hotel – The taxi stops in front of the hotel.]

Driver (Luiz): We're here, guys.

Theodoro: Thank you!

[They get out of the car, grab their bags and look at the hotel.]

Rafael: It's here, finally!

Ian: Let's get in and get settled. The city awaits us!

[They enter the hotel.]

Scene 6:

[Hotel Lobby – Ian, Rafael, Kaique and Theodoro enter the hotel with their bags.]

Receptionist (Oscar): Good afternoon, welcome to our hotel! How can I help you?
Theodoro: Good afternoon! We have a reservation for two rooms.
Receptionist (Oscar): Okay, I'll check... (types on the computer) Here it is. Two rooms on the fourth
floor. Here are the keys.

[Theodoro takes the keys.]

Theodoro: Oh, could you recommend a good restaurant nearby?

Receptionist (Oscar): Sure! Granary Square Brasserie is excellent and is only two blocks from here.
You'll love it!
Theodoro: Perfect, we'll go there later.

[They go up to their rooms and wait for dinner.]

Scene 6.1:

[Arriving at the airport – Matheus and Isa arrive in London]

Isa: We're finally here! Matheus, please call someone so we can meet.

Matheus: Ok.

[Matheus calls Kaique]

Matheus: Hey Kaique, we just disembarked, where should we meet? Yeah... Right... Ok we will meet
there!

Isa: Where will we find them?

Matheus: They go to the restaurant Granary Square Brasserie, I'll call a taxi.

[Matheus calls the taxi and the scene ends]

Scene 7:

[Restaurant – Ian, Rafael, Kaique, Theodoro are sitting at the table, admiring the
elegant decor. The restaurant is clearly five-star, with sophisticated lighting, fine
tablecloths and an impressive selection of wines on display.]

Isa: This place is incredible, I'm glad they found a restaurant like this.

Matheus: Of course! The ambience is perfect. I'm sure the food will be amazing too.

Isa: Yes, it's a little fancy, but I'm excited to see what the chef has to offer.

[Matheus and Isa find the others.]

Ian: Finally you arrived!!

Rafael: Finally we are all together! And in such a beautiful place.

Kaique: Let's sit down and enjoy a great meal.

[Everyone sits at the table and the waiter approaches them with the menus.]

Waiter (Oscar): Good evening! Welcome to our restaurant. Here are your menus. Can I start with
some drinks?

Rafael: (getting a menu) Of course, we'll have sparkling water to start.

Waiter (Oscar): Okay, I'll get the drinks while you guys decide what to order!

[The waiter nods and leaves to get the drinks. Meanwhile, they browse the menu.]

Ian: (pointing to the menu) The duck confit looks delicious. I accept this.

Kaique: That sounds great. I'll want that too.

Matheus: I feel like something different. I want the filet mignon with truffle sauce.

Rafael: The grilled scallops with caviar are incredible. I'll go for it.

Theodor: (reading the menu) I think I'll go for the lobster risotto.

Isa: I'm going to try wagyu beef.

[The waiter returns with the drinks and takes the order.]

Waiter (Oscar): Hello, have you already chosen what you are going to order?

Isa: Yeah, we'll have one of each of these here.

Waiter (Oscar): Excellent choices! I will place your orders in the kitchen immediately. Please enjoy
your evening.

[The waiter leaves and they talk while waiting for their meals.]

Theodoro: (looking around) This place really exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is so
elegant.

Matheus: I agree. And judging by the menu, the food will be top notch.

Isa: How was your flight? It looks like it was quite an experience.

Ian: It was actually quite peaceful, except for one annoying passenger nearby.

Rafael: (laughing) But now that we're all here, we can start our adventure in London.

[The waiter returns with the food, which is artfully presented on fine china. Each dish looks like
a work of art.]

Waiter (Oscar): Here are your food, enjoy the dinner.

Theodoro: (admiring the dish) Wow, this looks too beautiful to eat.

Kaique: Let's delve deeper and then plan our itinerary.

[They start eating and continue talking.]

ian: So Kaique and I are planning to visit Big Ben tomorrow.

Rafael: And the three of us, Theodoro, Matheus and I, are going to Buckingham Palace.

Isa: Matheus and I are going to the British Museum.

[During the conversation, Theodoro suddenly starts to look uncomfortable.]

Theodoro: (nervous) I'm not feeling well... I think I might be having a reaction to something on the
plate.

Rafael: (concerned) Are you allergic to anything in the food?

Theodoro: (weakly) I might be allergic to lobster...

Matheus: (quickly) We need to get you to a hospital immediately!

[Kaique and Matheus immediately help Theodoro to get up and run out of the restaurant. They
call a taxi to take Theodoro to the hospital.]

Scene 8:

[Hospital – Theodoro is in an emergency room, looking better but still a bit pale.
Kaique and Matheus are sitting next to the bed. The doctor enters the room.]

Doctor (Japa): Good evening. The patient had an allergic reaction, likely to lobster. We’ve treated it,
and they’re stable now.
Theodoro: (weakly) That’s a relief...
Doctor (Japa): I have already prescribed some medications. Avoid lobsters from now on and consider
carrying an allergy syringe just in case.

[The doctor hands the prescriptions to Kaique.]

Doctor (Japa): You can head back to your hotel. Rest and stay hydrated.
Kaique: Thank you, doctor.

[The doctor nods and leaves. Matheus picks up their phone and makes a call to the others.]

Matheus: Hello? Ian? Theodoro is fine now. It was just an allergic reaction. We’re going back to the
hotel to rest, see you later.

[Matheus and Kaique helps Theodoro get up.]

Kaique: Let’s get you back to the hotel so you can rest. Tomorrow’s a big day.

[They call a taxi and head back to the hotel, ending the scene as they drive off into the night.]

[London – The next day, the last day of the trip. The groups are exploring the city in
the morning.]

Kaique: Absolutely! The architecture is incredible. Shall we take a picture?
Ian: Good idea!

[They take a picture and continue exploring.]

Kaique: Let's take a wake around here.]

Rafael: It’s amazing to think about all the history this place has witnessed.

[They continue to admire the palace and take some pictures, soaking in the atmosphere.]

Isa: Yes! The work they do is impressive, their preservation method is very interesting.
Matheus: Look, it's Tutamkhamun's tomb, he was the eighteenth Pharaoh of Egypt!
Isa: It's a copy, because the original is in southern Egypt.
Matheus: Ok Isabella, I think thats all, lets meet the others on London Eye.
Isa: Ok Matheus, lets go!!

[They enter the museum and start exploring.]

[They enter the London Eye capsule and chat as they look out over the city.]

Isa: This trip has been wonderful. We've done so much and seen so many incredible places!
Theodoro: And we still have a few hours to enjoy. Let's make the most of them!
Ian: Without a doubt. London was fantastic, and every moment was special.

[The capsule ascends and they admire the view of London for the last time.]

[Rafael pays the bill and takes the keys back.]

Matheus: Let's call the taxis to the airport.

[Kaique uses the hotel phone to order two taxis.]

Check-in Agent (Luiz): Good afternoon! Traveling back?

Isa: Yes, we're leaving. We have a flight booked for today.
Check-in Agent (Luiz): Okay, I'll check you in.

[The agent checks you in and hands out your boarding passes.]

Kaique: Thank you! All that's left to do now is go through the security procedures.

[They head to security and then to the boarding gate.]

Isa: (looking out the window) Look, the view of London is beautiful until the very last moment.
Theodoro: It's true. We're going to miss this wonderful city.
Ian: It was an incredible trip. We enjoyed every minute of it.
Rafael: Absolutely. We'll remember it forever.
Matheus: Goodbye, London. See you next time!
