UNIT 1: ETHICAL ISSUES IN THE SCHOOL CONTEXT

SAMPLE

This is a sample that you can use for your first written assessment. For this task, you will
need to select four concepts from the text Strike, K., & Soltis, J. (2015). The Ethics of
Teaching. Teachers College Press. Focus exclusively on the first chapter.

You must read the rubric carefully and pay attention to all the criteria to guide your concept
selection. Regarding the concept selection criterion, refer to the footnote about conditions
a, b, c, and d. You can use either American or British spelling; however, be consistent
throughout your assessment and do not use both simultaneously.

The total score for this assessment is 20 points, and the deadline is 1 September at 23:59
hrs, Santiago de Chile time. You must send your document to [email protected].

Below, you will find information regarding the expected formal aspects of the written
assessment:

Assignments:

For all types of assignments, including reports and essays, students must cite and reference
bibliographic sources using APA Standards – 7th edition (refer to APA Standards on
CANVAS). The same standards should be used for covers, indexes, tables, appendices, and
footnotes.

All assignments must include a cover page that displays the program logo (see logo on
CANVAS), the title of the work, student identification, course, professor, and date.

Format: Letter-size page, normal margins, Calibri font size 12, 1.15 line spacing.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at my email: [email protected].
