Applied Statistics – Assignment 4

A team of researchers is interested in studying the impact of different teaching methodologies on the
grades of 1st year University students for a given subject.

In particular, they are interested in comparing three methods of instruction: A= Flipped classroom, B=
Collaborative learning and C= Direct instruction. They are also interested in studying whether the
effect of teaching instruction is different in the “Morning” and “Evening” groups since the “Evening
group” is mostly composed of students taking the subject for a second time. In order to study these
effects, they will consider the final grades of a total of 60 students.

The researchers have also collected data on the level of satisfaction of students with their learning
process at different time points during the semester.

1- Use the appropriate measures to summarize all data contained in the file assignment4.sav
2- Are there significant differences in final grade scores for different teaching methodologies?
3- Are there significant differences in final grades scores for different class schedules
(morning/evening)?
4- Is there a significant interaction between method of instruction and class schedule?
5- Is there a significant change in level of satisfaction for the students over time?

We have los datos de 60 sujetos y vamos a hacer un Anova sobre ello.
