MEXICO

Mexico is a country in the south of North America. It shares land borders with the United States
to the north, with Guatemala and Belize to the southeast, with the Pacific Ocean to the west, the
Caribbean Sea to the southeast, and the Gulf of Mexico to the east. It is the 13th worlds largest country
by area and 10th most populous country in the world. The official language in Mexico is Spanish and the
majority of the population is Catholic.

Mexico City is the capital of Mexico. It is a vibrant and culturally rich destination with a plethora
of attractions to explore. These are some of them:

1. Zócalo (Plaza de la Constitución): is town square in the heart of Mexico City and home to the
Metropolitan Cathedral and National Palace.
2. Chapultepec Park: One of the largest urban parks in the world, Chapultepec offers museums like
the National Museum of Anthropology, Chapultepec Castle with its stunning views of the city,
and recreational areas for picnics and leisurely walks. There is also Monument to the Boy
Heroes. This monument is dedicaded to six young Mexican soldiers who died during the Battle of
Chapultepec.
3. Palacio de Bellas Artes: This cultural center, which has stuning architecture, hosts art exhibitions,
concerts, and performances. On the right image you can see the stage in the palace

Tulum is a coastal town located on the eastern edge of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. Known
for its stunning beaches, ancient Mayan ruins, and bohemian atmosphere.

1. Mayan Ruins: Tulum is home to one of the most iconic archaeological sites in Mexico.
Perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Tulum Ruins offer breathtaking views
and a glimpse into the ancient Mayan civilization. Visitors can explore the well-preserved
structures, including El Castillo (The Castle) and the Temple of the Frescoes, while learning
about the history and significance of this site.

2. Beaches: Tulum boasts some of the most picturesque beaches in the Riviera Maya. With
powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and swaying palm trees, the beaches
here are postcard-perfect. Whether you're looking to relax on a sun lounger, swim in the
refreshing sea, or try water sports like snorkeling or paddleboarding, Tulum's beaches offer
something for everyone.

3. Cenotes: The Tulum area is dotted with cenotes, natural sinkholes formed by the collapse of
limestone bedrock, revealing stunning underground pools. These cenotes are not only
beautiful but also hold cultural and spiritual significance for the Mayan people. Visitors can
swim, snorkel, or dive in these freshwater cenotes, surrounded by lush jungle scenery.
