d) Determine the inverse for all functions in which the inverse is possible.

a. Express F(x) in the form 𝐹(𝑥) = 𝑎(𝑥 + ℎ)2 + 𝑘.

b. Hence or otherwise, state the turning point of the quadratic function and whether it is a
maximum or minimum curve.

c. Using part b, determine the necessary changes to the domain needed for the function [F(x)] to be
bijective.

5) Find the equation of the straight line, l, that passes through the point P (0,2) and is parallel to the line AB
with coordinates A (5, -4) and B (-3,2).

6) Determine the range of values of x for which, 𝑥 2 + 3𝑥 − 10 > 0.
