    Fully synthetic transmission oil with special fuel efficiency properties, specifically studied for
    DaimlerChrysler heavy duty vehicles but also suitable for light duty and passenger car applications.

    PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE

    • eni Rotra HY DB synth is formulated with fully synthetic base oils that deliver the highest level of
    performances.

    • Its modern additive technology ensures a safe lubrication of high loaded manual transmissions.

    • Thanks to its excellent thermal stability eni Rotra HY DB synth keeps safe the system from
    deposits.

    • It has a high shifting convenience also at low temperatures with very good synchronisation
    properties.

    • It ensures optimum transmission lubrication in a wide temperature range.

    • Its outstanding oxidation stability prevents an early oil ageing and viscosity increase. Shifting
    problems and noise development in the mechanical transmission are prevented at low
    temperatures.

    APPLICATIONS

    eni Rotra HY DB synth meets the severe requirements of DaimlerChrysler with particular regard to the
    ACTROS series, UNIMOG, MB-TRAC as well as for passenger cars and cross-country vehicles. Further
    applications are possible wherever an oil with the viscosity SAE 75W-90, API GL-4 is prescribed by the
    manufacturer. It is miscible with vehicle transmission oils based on mineral oil.
