7.0 Output of the mocroproject-

1) HAPPINESS IS THE PROCESS OF BECOMING YOUR

IDEAL SELF
Completing a marathon makes us happier than eating a chocolate
cake. Raising a child makes us happier than beating a video game.
Starting a small business with friends and struggling to make
money makes us happier than buying a new computer.
And the funny thing is that all three of the activities above are
exceedingly unpleasant and require setting high expectations and
potentially failing to always meet them. Yet, they are some of the
most meaningful moments and activities of our lives. They
involve pain, struggle, even anger and despair, yet once we’ve
done them we look back and get misty-eyed about them.
Why?
Because it’s these sorts of activities that allow us to become our
ideal selves. It’s the perpetual pursuit of fulfilling our ideal selves
that grants us happiness, regardless of superficial pleasures or
pain, regardless of positive or negative emotions. This is why
some people are happy in war and others are sad at weddings. It’s
why some are excited to work and others hate parties. The traits
they’re inhabiting don’t align with their ideal selves.
The end results don’t define our ideal selves. It’s not finishing the
marathon that makes us happy; it’s achieving a difficult long-term
goal that does. It’s not having an awesome kid to show off that
makes us happy; it’s knowing that you gave yourself up to the
growth of another human being that is special. It’s not the prestige
and money from the new business that makes you happy, it’s the
process of overcoming all odds with people you care about.
And this is the reason that trying to be happy inevitably will make
you unhappy. Because to try to be happy implies that you are not
already inhabiting your ideal self, you are not aligned with the
qualities of who you wish to be. After all, if you were acting out
your ideal self, then you wouldn’t feel the need to try to be happy.
Cue statements about “finding happiness within,” and “knowing
that you’re enough.” It’s not that happiness itself is in you, it’s that
happiness occurs when you decide to pursue what’s in you.
And this is why happiness is so fleeting. Anyone who has set out
major life goals for themselves only to achieve them and realize
that they feel the same relative amounts of happiness/unhappiness
knows that happiness always feels like it’s around the corner, just
waiting for you to show up. No matter where you are in life, you
will always perceive there to be one more thing you need to do to
be especially happy7. But it too, will be a mirage.
And that’s because our ideal self is always just around that corner,
always three steps ahead of us. We dream of being a musician and
when we’re a musician, we dream of writing a film score, and
when write a film score, we dream of writing a screenplay. And
what matters isn’t that we achieve each of these plateaus of
success, but that we’re consistently moving towards them, day
after day, month after month, year after year. The plateaus will
come and go, and we’ll continue following our ideal self down the
path of our lives.

And with that, with regards to finding happiness, it seems the best
advice is also the simplest: Imagine who you want to be and
then step towards it8. Dream big and then do something.
Anything9. The simple act of moving at all will change how you
feel about the entire process and serve to inspire you further.
Let go of the imagined result—it’s not necessary. The fantasy
and the dream are merely tools to get you off your ass. It doesn’t
matter if they come true or not. Live, man. Just live. Stop trying to
be happy and just be.
2) BEST RESTAURANT REVIEWS BLOG: ALL THE FOOD

All the Food is a blog dedicated to all the best places to eat and drink in
Dublin. Unlike some of the other websites on this list, All the Food is
specifically a blog website rather than a website that includes a blog as
part of its content. Readers will find different types of blog content here,
such as restaurant reviews, travel guides and neighborhood lists.
There are six different categories on this blog: neighborhoods, reviews,
restaurants, Dublin guides, travel guides and what’s new. What’s
interesting is that each category page is structured differently based on
the content type. The same goes for the blog post pages. This shows how
well Editor Lisa Cope understands content and that, if you want to create
a great user experience, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution for
structuring your pages.

Key takeaways

• Personalize your design. Blog templates are undoubtedly

invaluable, but it's crucial to consider them as a foundation rather
than the final product. Think of it like a move-in-ready house—
you need to add your personal touch to make it feel like home.
Customize the template to match your style and brand, and make it
uniquely yours to create a welcoming and engaging blog for your
audience.

• Stay on theme. The best food blogs often thrive on having a clear
and distinct theme. Without a unique focus, it becomes
challenging to attract readers, especially when there are thousands
of generic food blogs out there. Fortunately, All the Food excels in
this aspect by maintaining a strong focus on Dublin-specific
eateries and tips. This specificity sets the blog apart, making it
more appealing and valuable to readers seeking local culinary
insights and recommendations in Dublin.
3) THE BEAUTY OF A SUNSET

Why is it that when our eyes fix onto the warm colors of the setting sun
we’re transported to an enchanted world? Most people can agree that a
good sunset holds the power to stop just about anyone in their tracks —
studies have even shown that instances of awe in watching sunsets cause
psychological effects that enhance long-lasting satisfaction in life. If
that’s not reason enough to stop and appreciate the setting sun, I don’t
know what is.

For all you hopeless romantics out there like myself, the real reason
why we glorify these instances of beauty is because they are simply
that… idealized romance. Sundown seems to embody the sheer power of
an utterly romantic point in time. Just like love at first sight, it takes
your breath away, leaves you speechless and if only for a moment, slows
down time. In that instant, you feel the love and gratitude for Mother
Nature exude from every inch of your body. A sunset possesses the
promise of a new day. With the sun’s last rays peeking out from the
horizon comes the realization that tomorrow holds endless possibilities.
You know it won’t last, but you savor every last bit of that fleeting
beauty.

Recently I’ve come to realize that I collect sunsets. Whether it’s walking
to my car at the end of the workday or strolling the sands of an
exotic beach, without even noticing it, I’ve managed to use a camera
lens to take these evenings home with me. This collection of cotton
candy clouds and radiating hues represents some of the most
beautiful moments and most wonderful memories in my life. These
snapshots have become sacred treasures in my heart.
4) ART OF MANLINESS

Honest tips and tutorials for becoming a better, more centered man.
I first heard of The Art Of Manliness after listening to a Mixergy
interview. They are a true content site, producing mainly informational
blog posts around men’s interests and lifestyle topics.
They make money through ads, and they’ve later started selling physical
products like mugs, t-shirts, and posters. Usually, branded physical
products can only work when you have a loyal audience, which
obviously they have because 30% of their traffic comes is direct.
5) CSS TRICKS

A giant design and development resource centered around one big

influencer.
Chris Coyier is one of the most well-known designers on the internet.
And it’s all thanks to his wildly popular design blog, CSS Tricks. Like
Nomadic Matt, a large percentage of the articles are written by Chris.
He started the website in 2007. At the time, it was purely about CSS –
hence the name. Today, it’s grown into a huge resource for all things
web design and development. I visit this site several times a month
myself, mainly to copy and paste in CSS lines that he shares in his blog
posts.
