Teacher’s Day 2024

Theme: “Empowering Educators: strengthening resilience, building


sustainability.”

Kent: “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains.


Heljhen: The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” - William Arthur Ward once
said.

Kent: To our respected school head Ma’am Lea A. Gialogo, all the loving teachers, Brgy. Officials
headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Vicente L. Geromiano, PTA Officers headed by Ma’am Helen P.
Belleza, parents, guests and my dear schoolmates, ladies and gentlemen…

Both: Good Morning!

Heljhen: Welcome to this special assembly to celebrate teacher’s day. I am Heljhen Marie K. Parcon

Kent: And I am Kent Jake A. Baldemor, your hosts for today.

Heljhen: Teacher’s Day is a day to honor and appreciate the teachers who have shaped our lives
and guided us on our journey of learning.

Kent: Teachers are not only our educators, but also our mentors, friends, and role models. They
inspire us to dream big, work hard, and achieve our goals.

Heljhen: They also instill in us the values of honesty, integrity, compassion, and respect.

Kent: On this occasion, we would like to express our gratitude and admiration to all the teachers who
have dedicated their lives to the noble profession of teaching.

Heljhen: To mark this auspicious day, we have prepared a variety of cultural and academic
presentations for you. We hope you will enjoy them and appreciate the efforts of our fellow learners.

Kent: To start with, may I request everyone to please stand and help us in welcoming our dignitaries
this morning, no other than our valued and loved mentors.

Heljhen: Let’s welcome first our hardworking, determined and passionate COS, Ma’am Ghea K.
Ganit Around of applause please!

Kent: Our second dignitary is our Kindergarten Teacher. The caring, kind, a loving mother of two kids,
very demure, and very mindful, Teacher Maribel G. Giganto. Around of applause please!
Heljhen: Our third dignitary is one of a kind, a nonchalant but surprisingly creative and
innovative in a way. Ladies and Gentlemen, a warm welcome to our Grade 1 Teacher, Ma’am Heart
R. Sabordo. Around of applause please!

Kent: Our fourth dignitary is an enthusiast or expert especially in a technological field or activity. If
CPU is the heart of the computer system, she is the heart of Roosevelt Elementary School operating
system, no other than Ma’am Rosalina E. Lecita. Around of applause please!

Heljhen: Next up, is a diligent, empathetic, blissful and resilient Teacher, Ma’am Segundina E.
Jadulos. Around of applause please!

Heljhen: Our next dignitary is a fresh blood to our family here at RES. A handsome, passionate,
creative and enthusiastic. The new class adviser of Grade 4, Sir John Eric R. Geromiano. Around of
applause please!

Kent: This time, let’s welcome our warm, cheerful, baby-faced and young at heart Grade 5 adviser,
Ma’am Mary Ann L. Arenga. Around of applause please!

Heljhen: Also, let’s welcome on stage our Grade 6 Adviser. The modern miss independent, millennial
teacher, ambivert, and an avid fan of new lingos like the Gen-Alpha Slangs. Around of applause
please for Ma’am Milse Marie M. Barrido.

Kent: Ofcourse, let’s all loudly welcome, the brilliant, vivacious, fabulous and always amazed us. No
other than our gorgeous Head Teacher, Madame Lea A. Gialogo. Around of applause please!

Heljhen: Hello Teachers! This day is especially for you so sit back, relax and smile. So to formally
start our short program, may I request everyone to please stand for the singing of the National
Anthem, Capiz Hymn, and Tapaz Hymn to be played on air respectively.

Kent: Also, may we remain standing for a doxology to our father in heaven, to be led by Ms. Althea
Katipunan, our SELG Auditor.

Opening Message
Heljhen: You can sit down now. To welcome us on this occasion, let’s have our head girl, the SELG
President Ms. Mel Marie G. Dende. Around of applause please.

Inspirational Message
Heljhen: What a golden voice from Ms. Princess Nichole Castor. Thank you. Now, let’s hear an
inspirational message from one of our educators in this community, also lays the foundation of early
childhood education, let’s have our PTA President Ma’am Helen P. Belleza. Around of applause

Kent: Thank you Ma’am Helen for your inspiring words. This time, let’s have a dance number
prepared by the SELG Officers. Please clap your hands.

MESSAGE
Kent: What a dance moves from SELG Officers. At this point, let us listen to a message from our
industrious, supportive and multitalented Brgy. Captain. Hon. Vicente L. Geromiano. Around of

Heljhen: Thank you Kap. We really appreciate your benevolent presence here today. This time, let’s
witness another dance number to be given to us by Ms. Ma. Clodith L. Carisma, a Grade 4 pupil.

SELG CHARACTER IMPERSONATION


Kent: Thank you so much Dara. This time, let’s all be entertain and awed to KaLook-a-Like
performances of our selected SELG Officers. Kalook-a-like ba or kaloka? Let’s be ready to say Wow
and Sheeeesh! Let’s give them a big, big hand!

GIVING of GIFTS & FLOWERS


Heljhen: Thank you my fellow SELG Officers. A famous writer once quote, “Teacher affects eternity,
you can never know where your influences stop.” I firmly agree. And that is the main reason why we
are gather here today. To simply show our appreciation our schoolmates have prepared some gifts,
flowers and cards. I hope Ma’am and Sirs ma appreciate nyo gid ang amon simple effort to show how
much we love and valued every one of you.

Kent: Let’s start with our Kindergarten Pupils. Pwede na kamu ka saka sa stage kag mag give sang
inyo mga gifts and flowers.
