1
Choosing Your Class:

Fighter - Fighters have high health points (HP) and high defense, making them the best
Tanks in the game! They can output high Damage Per Second (DPS) with axes or have
extremely high block/defense rates with a sword and shield.

Mage - Mages have low HP, low defense, but deal magic damage, making them one of
the strongest damage classes in the game. They output high DPS and have the most
powerful Area of Effect (AoE) moves in the game.

Archer – Archers have medium stats all-around. They excel in crowd control with 4
different AoE skills by level 95. While they can “kite” large groups of enemies with
these skills, they are also proficient in single-target damage by applying poisons,
bleeds, and other Damage over Time (DoT) effects.

Cleric – Clerics have high defense and HP, low damage, but play the support role in
groups. They have the capability to heal themselves and others; curing allies of
diseases and poisons, providing buffs and health boosts, and more! Clerics can also
revive dead players which proves MOST important in raids and dungeons.

Trickster – Tricksters excel in single target damage. With low defense, yet extremely
high DPS, they are capable of taking down enemies quicker than most classes.
Tricksters apply Damage over Time effects, along with extremely hard hitting skills
that build up over time. With a single critical, a trickster can sometimes 1-shot an
enemy.

Crusader – Crusaders are best explained as an all-in-one class. They utilize healing,
damage, magic damage, and ranged attacks to vanquish their foes. Crusaders START at
level 60. You must have a previous character reach level 60 to unlock this class.

Raion Credits/Currency:

Raion Online uses a currency system known as “Raion Credits”.These credits are
obtained a number of ways:
⦁ Dropped by enemies
⦁ Dropped by entities mined/gathered (Trees, herbs, ores, etc.)
⦁ Donations to the server
⦁ Rewards for events
These credits are spent at Non-Player Characters (NPC’s) found in the town of
Roumen. These NPC’s are found at the fishing market near the bottom right of the
map.(Hotkey: M)
These NPC’s sell items that can only be bought using Raion credits such as:
1. Costumes & Accessories
2. Buffs and Weapon Skins
3. Mounts and Pets
4. Mini-houses, dances, crafting schematics & more!
NOTE: "Merchant Cerdic” can be found next to “Item Merchant Pey” right outside of
the fishing market near the large set of stone stairs. Cerdic sells MANY things that will help
you on your journey such as:

Boosts that double your health, mana or experience

Stones to enhance your weapons by +2 (see page 6 "Enhancing your weapons and gear")

Power and defense boosts

Hammer of Bijou’s (see page 6 NOTE 'C') and more!

3
Questing:
The fastest way to level up in Raion Online is quests! Luckily for you, the quest log (Hotkey: L)
is here to help!

The quest log is separated by 2 categories. “Available” and “In Progress”

You can accept quests through your quest log instead of having to travel to the specific NPC by
accessing your "Available" quests.

This is the same for turning in quests. You can turn in and be rewarded for quests by accessing
your “In Progress” quests.

Travelling:
Travelling in Raion online is easy for everyone! (Hotkey: U for World Map). There are
two methods of travel: Mounts & Scrolls
⦁ Mounts are entities your character can ride to gain a speed boost to travel to
areas faster. It is important to know that “Item Merchant Nina” in Elderine
grants you the ability to combine your mounts together to upgrade your
mounts.
The more you upgrade your mounts, the faster they become and will grant you
upgrades like health regeneration and stat boosts. Item Merchant Nina explains
everything in more detail when you visit her and choose “Combine Mount”

4
⦁ Scrolls allow you to instantly teleport to a location when used. These scrolls
can drop from enemies or be bought from “Item Merchant Pey” in Roumen.
(Scrolls are sold on her second page, use the arrows on the bottom of her shop
to access them). Note: Scrolls are CONSUMABLES and will disappear when
used.

Weapons & Gear:

Gear comes in 4 colors:
White, Green, Blue, and Orange.
White is the most basic level which provide no additional stats
Greens are rare drops from any enemy which will provide your character with
additional random stats and extra defense
Blues are extremely rare and provide some of the best defense and stats in the game
while also providing buffs if you wear a “set” of the same blues (chest, legs, and boots
of the same type)
Orange gear is the rarest and is usually dropped from only certain World Bosses (lvl 85
+) or certain Hardcore Kingdom Quests and instances

Weapons & Gear can be obtained in different ways:

⦁ 1. Rare drops from enemies
⦁ 2. Bought from Merchants
⦁ 3. Raid/Dungeon/Instance Rewards (or final bosses)

1: Armor, jewels, and weapons can be dropped from almost every enemy.

5
2a: Specific BOSS monsters will drop “tokens” on death. These tokens can be
transferred between characters and if you save up enough, they can be used to
purchase specific weapons and armors from merchants outside of instances and
dungeons.

2b: Blacksmiths around each town will also sell “white” gears for you to purchase.
These are the most basic sets of gear and provide no additional stats or buffs.

3: Specific boss monsters have a chance of dropping rare gear on death.

Enhancing Your Weapons & Gear:

Gear can be “enhanced”. This is the best way of increasing damage and defense by a
SIGNIFICANT margin.

Gear can be enhanced by visiting a blacksmith in any town and using "Enhancement
Stones" to reforge your gear!

Enhancement Stones are the only way to enhance your gear. These stones can be
found by mining ores which can be found in caves around the world.

Enhancing is basically a mini-game of chance. You must:

⦁ Place the armor/weapon/jewel you want to enhance in the middle

6
⦁ Place the “enhancement stone” in any of the slots around (it doesn’t matter
where)
⦁ Optionally place your *Gold Nines/*Blue Miles (see below) in the slots below
⦁ Initiate the enhancement
In addition to gaining enhancement stones out of ores, you can also find *Gold Nines
and *Blue Miles. These are additional items that assist your enhancement process but
are not required.
NOTE 'A': Most Armors & Shields have a maximum of +10 Enhancements.
Weapons have a maximum of +12 Enhancements.
NOTE 'B': All gear has an “ITEM RATING”. Item Rating goes from 1-6.
You can only enhance gear using the same Item Rating as the enhancement stone.
(example: A level 60 axe would be Item Rating level 3, so only Level 3 Enhancement
Stones can enhance the weapon.)
NOTE 'C': All Blacksmiths have an ANVIL next to them. You can use this Anvil
to use “Hammer of Bijou’s” on a piece of gear. The Hammer of Bijou will randomly
re-assign and reset the stats on the piece of gear. This gives a chance to get a better
“roll” of stats on the gear. Each gear piece has a maximum of 10 attempts. You can
purchase a Hammer at “Merchant Cerdic” for 10 Raion Credits found in Roumen.
