Asynchronous session 10:30am – 12:20pm September 21st

GENERAL INSTRUCTION: Read all the instructions carefully before you start
working on the tasks and make sure to ask for professor in case of doubts on what
you have to do.

1- Watch the following informative video on the topic Speech.

2- Based on the brief information from the previous video, what was observed in the TED talk
short speech you watched (Matt Cutts: Try something new for 30 days | TED Talk), the
improving opportunities you all mentioned in your self-evaluation (Pronunciation, Fluency,
Intonation, Vocabulary use, Better use of grammar) CREATE A SHORT SPEECH, based on
the same topic you used for your oral presentation.

3- Other aspects to consider:


- Most of your Oral presentations were informative, now make it more persuasive when
transformed into a Speech.
- Your allotted time is from 2 to 3 minutes.
- When giving a speech, you don´t read
4- When you´re sure that you have included all these aspects record your speech on VIDEO.
5- Upload the link of your video of your speech to the platform on a PDF document.
THE VIDEOS OF YOUR SHORT SPEECHES WILL BE PLAYED BY THE PROFESSOR NEXT
CLASS.
