Studying online and Studying in class


I prefer studying online to studying in class because of some reason. In recent years,
online learning has become increasingly popular. It is always a convenient and flexible
way for students to pursuit their education, get cost effective, connect with a large
learning community.
First of all, one of the biggest benefits of online learning is that it brings flexibility and
convenience. With online courses, you can study at everywhere, at a time that suits you
as long as your laptop is connected with internet. It allows you to fit your studies around
your busy schedule.
Secondly, online learning is more cost effective than traditional learning. When
studying online, you don’t need go to classroom so you can save money on
accommodation, transportation, and other living expenses.
Finally, one of the key factors of online learning is the opportunity to connect with a
large learning community. With online courses, you can interact with people from all
over the country even the word, sharing ideas and experiences. That is an important part
of what makes online learning help you progress so quickly.
In conclusion, online learning has become an especially important learning method in
education. It offers a convenient and flexible way for you to study. It can be more cost-
effective than traditional classroom-based courses and provides access to a large
community of students and educators. Therefore, everyone should be encouraged to study
online.
Working online/ working for a team
Nowadays, when teamwork has gradually become a popular working trend, teamwork
skills are something each individual should choose early on. Working for a team is
always a good way to improve communication skills, solve problems and increase work
productivity, practice discipline.
First of all, one of the biggest benefits of working for a team is that you can improve
your communication skills. If you regularly participate in group work, you will develop
critical thinking skills when your colleagues give opinions. Regular group work is also a
way to help you practice your skills and improve your communication skills every day.

Secondly, team work is a best way solve problems and increase work productivity.
When working for a team, you will increase your inspiration and creative ideas generated
from the results of group discussion. Many comments will help group members
contribute together, edit together and ultimately solve the problem, increasing work
efficiency.
Finally, team work helps us practice discipline. Working as a team you will have to
operate in an organized, disciplined manner and the only thing you have to do is obey.
You will have to accept differences and respect members.
Working for large companies/ small business
No doubt, I choose to work for a small company because there are too many benefits that
outnumber its disadvantages not to choose. But working for a large company has
advantages no more than its disadvantages.
The most important benefit of working for a small company is that I will have many
chances to develop. In general, a small company is a developing enterprise and it is not
easy to absorb many excellent employees. If I enter this small company, I think that the
boss will appreciate me and give me many opportunities to reveal my abilities. Only I let
the job do well, I am sure that I will rise very rapidly.
On contrary to this, a large company is already a high developed institution. There are
many prominent talents working for it. A good position will absorb hundreds of
opponents. It will take me a lot of time and vigor to get this position. Maybe I have no
chance to win this competition at all.
Another benefit of working for a small company, which working for a large company
almost cannot achieve, is that I can learn more skills in a small company than in a large
company. As shown above, a small company is a developing enterprise. This means that
it has no a great deal of money to employ many persons. So, I can do all kinds of jobs at
the same time. I think that this will be useful to compete in the society. But in a large
company, maybe I only engage a monotonous job over a long period of time. I believe
that this will be helpless to improve my capacity.
Of course, choosing to work for a large company also has advantages to some extent. For
example, it will afford handsome salary and will be not easy to fail in business
competition. But from my own development, I still want to work in a small company. In
addition, I believe that every large company originates from a small company. Maybe I
will become an important person when the small companies in which I work become a
large company.
Working from home

Office has no longer been the only work place since many people are considering
working from home. Some may argue the majority of employees should change their
work place from office to home. In my opinion, the benefits of working from home can
surely surpass the drawbacks due to the following reasons:

Working from home is a lot more comfortable for lots of people. Employees can save a
great deal of time and money since they do not have to travel so often, which means
people will have more time for work and for themselves, too. Less travelling will also
help reduce traffice jam and pollutants to our environment. Besides, working at home
does not mean staying inside all day long, people can choose to work in their garden or
backyard, wherever makes them feel convenient to work. Moreover, employees are under
less stresses since they get to decide when to work and when to take rest. These things
will help giving out better perfomance to tasks.

There are still some disadvantages that home-working could bring. For instance, working
from personal space will reduce direct interactions among colleagues. But the problem is
solved thanks to the Internet. As for now, people from around the globe can easily
contact and work with others from distances. Another drawback is that some people may
get distracted from work by external factors. This requires employees to be highly awared
of what they should and should not do for their paid jobs.

In conclusion, working from home should be encouraged because the advantages


overcome the disadvantages.
Characteristic of a Good teacher
Teachers play an important part in training children, teenagers and even people in their
early maturity. Some qualities of a good teacher that are crucial for determining one as a
good teacher are the teacher’s sound knowledge in his/her major and its related fields,
certain devotion to and great love for his/her students and his/her ability to inspire the
students’ passion for studying either in or out of class.
There is no doubt that knowledge is a quality/must for a good teacher. In addition to
his/her professional knowledge, the teacher need to enlarge his/her general knowledge on
culture, society, humanity, psychology, methodology, politics, history, etc. to provide
his/her students with what they need to know, satisfy their curiosity and meet their
requirements in any case.
Another quality that a good teacher should have is his/her devotion to and great love for
those who call him ‘sir’ or her ‘madam’ in class. Generally speaking, the students are not
mature enough to behave properly. They are sometimes really stubborn. Consequently,
the teacher has to learn how to handle the students’ troubles in a gentle and affectionate
manner. He/she should pay adequate attention to the students and know how to keep calm
in any situation so that he/she can give the students some advice when they are in need or
help them distinguish the right from the wrong.
Last but not least, a good teacher always succeeds in inspiring his/her students’ passion
for studying both under his/her guidance in class and out of class by themselves. I highly
appreciate this third quality of a good teacher because of its undeniable value. It is not
always easy to provide his/her students with all the required knowledge in class;
therefore, a good teacher can manage to make the students motivated enough to carry on
their active and successful self-study at home. Obviously, teaching his/her students how
to study independently, creatively and effectively is what a good teacher must do in any
academic setting.
In conclusion, to be a good teacher, anyone who devotes himself/herself to the “coinage”
of a succession of young generations must keep on working really hard to enlarge his/her
skill and general as well as professional knowledge, to accumulate experience in how to
deal with his/her students properly and to be able to inspire in the students the true love,
the increasing hope and the ever-lasting enthusiasm to reach higher and higher levels of
education in their life. Those are important qualities of a good teacher.”
