Job Description for Backend Software Engineer / Developer

Experienced in:
● Web Application Development using Python and associated frameworks
(FastAPI, Flask)
● Working with NoSQL/SQL database (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
● Designing server-side applications and systems
● Containerising applications using docker

Preferred Experience in:


● Building and working with Text Search Engines (Apache Solr/Elasticsearch)
● Building Semantic search engines for a Big Data dataset
● Big Data processing and associated frameworks (Apache Spark/pyspark)
● Utilising Natural language processing algorithms to build comparison and
ranking algorithms.

Operational Competencies:
● Software development lifecycle
● Git/GitHub for Version control management and releases

*Location: Mohali, Punjab (On-site)


Minimum YoE: 2 years
