JAZ EPOXY CRACK FILLER ESP

Description:
A high quality, two-component solvent free epoxy polyamide cured which has been designed to fill up the hollow spaces and cracks and also
for leveling surfaces.

Recommended Use:
Recommended to use as a filler to fill-up cracks up to 2 cm wide and 2 cm depth, pores and hollows for exterior and interior applications on
concrete, cement, gypsum,wood and steel surfaces.

Characteristics:

• Excellent resistance to chemicals, alkalis, salts and water.
• Resistance to shrinkage & sagging.
• Resistance to cracking.
• Low VOC content.
• Easy to apply.
Physical Constants:
• Finish: Semi-gloss
• Color: White.
• Volume Solid : 100 % ASTM D2697
• Specific Gravity: 1.49 for (A), 1.0 for (B) , ASTM D1475
• Filling Range Up to 2 cm wide and 2 cm depth.
• VOC: 39 g/L . ASTM D2369 / D3960
Tests:
• VOC Emission After Application Pass Leed Requirements - Ver.4 Intertek , USA

Surface Preparation:
• The surface must be removed from dust , grease, oil and other contaminants completely.
• For old surfaces, old paint must be removed completely.
For steel surfaces:
• The surface must be treated by blast cleaning to arrived to cleanless grade Sa 2½ and roughness 40:75 µm according to ISO 8501.
For concrete surfaces:
• All new surfaces must be cured at least for 28 days prior to application of the primer.

Application Guide:
• The required temperature during application, must not be less than 5°C; the surface moisture should not exceed 8% and the relative
humidity at work place should not exceed 70%.
• PH of surface should not exceed 9.
• Base paint and hardener should be mixed carefully and homogenously.
• The mixed paint should be used within the recommended pot-life.
• Do not apply the next coat unless the previous one is fully dry. Minimum recoating interval time should be given between the two coats.
• Adequate ventilation should be provided during drying time.

Application Tools :
• Putty knife.

1 hour at 25°C.

Painting System:
• Fill pores, hollows and cracks with “Jaz Epoxy Crack Filler ESP” until the surface becomes leveled and smooth.

Drying Time:
• Surface dry 3 hours.
• Recoating Interval 7 hours. (minimum)
• Full cure 7 days.
• All above test results according to ASTM D5895@ 25°C.

Cleaning Tools:
• Jazeera Thinner 505.

Shelf Life & Storage:

Shelf life : 12 months @ 25 °C.
Storage: The container should be kept in sealed, dry, cool, well -ventilated place and stored in accordance with national regulations.

Safety Precautions:
• Please read and follow the precautionary notices displayed on the container, and all caution statements on the MSDS of this product.
• Handle with care before and during use.
• During application of paint, contact of liquid paint with eyes, skin, inhalation of paint mist and paint vapour, should be strongly avoided.
• Recommended to use the product in well-ventilated area when applying the paint in insufficient ventilated areas, forced ventilation should
be provided.
• Keep away from the reach of children.

For environmental safety: please donate the leftover paint and packaging to your local authorized institution for usage or recycling purpose.
Note: Wastes and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations made under the Control of Pollution Act and
the Environmental Protection Act.
