    Payment Terms and Conditions:


    Payment terms, 60 % advance for GAD, 40 % advance to deliver the materials and final 10 % on
    handing over day of the lift for use. We propose to furnish and erect the installation outlined in the
    foregoing proposal.

    The prices quoted herein are exclusive of taxes, as currently applicable, whether levied by the
    Central Government or the State Government or any Local Authority. If there should be any
    amendment or variation in the rate or methodology for charging the applicable indirect taxes,
    and/or, should be any new levies imposed in respect of any new levies imposed in respect of any of
    the activities or events under this contract, the entire burden of any additional levy or indirect
    taxation shall be payable by you on demand at any time, in addition to the prices stated herein.
    Without prejudice to the foregoing clause, it is stated that the contract price is inclusive of: -
    i VAT will be charged for 80% of the contract value towards materials @ 18%
    iii However, any additional tax or any variation in rate/s as may be applicable to this contract,
    shall be payable by you on demand at any time, in addition to the contract price stated
    herein

    TERMS OF CONTRACT
    1. Quotations are effective for 30 days from date of proposal and thereafter are subject to
    change without notice.

    2. If you cannot provide electric power by the required after installation has been completed,
    you must take over the elevator and make the payment due.

    3. Delay resulting unavoidable like strike, theft, flood, war etc. any cause beyond your/our
    control shall extend the supply & completion time without any compensation.

    4. For unpaid amount, we shall retain the right to lien and the right to retake possession of
    the elevator or any part there of your cost.

    5. Any extra work by you or by government authorities, not mentioned in specification, If it


    feasible will be under take at extra cost.

    6. Any cancellation, we shall be entitled to claim, actual cost of materials supplied or damaged
    with administration charges or 15% of the value of the contract.

    7. All disputes and differences and claim what so ever will be sort out by either seniors
    manager’s meeting or judicial custody at Chennai court judiciary.

    8. Our contract price shall be subject to price adjustment in accordance with the IEEMA
    PRICE VARIATION FORMULA.In the event of your accepting this proposal, we
    request you to kindly sign the proposal and return the same with your cheque
    towards advance payment.
    9. The storage space for the materials, necessary required power supply, lighting,
    sanitary and security at site during the supply and installation will be provided by
    the customer at their cost.

    Delivery and completion:


    1. 5 weeks from the date of order and 5 weeks completion.

    2. Any delay in construction of lift hoist way or machine room, electrical power supply, completion
    date will be revised.

    Warranty: One year from the date of handover (or) 12 months from the date of materials
    supplied, whichever matured is applicable.

    Preparatory: From your end at your cost


    1. To furnish scaffolding as per our requirement, Lift hoist way, Lift pit, Machine room as per
    our instruction / drawing.

    2. To furnish and install bracket cut out holes cutting and plastering, Landing box holes cutting
    and plastering, Machine concrete bed, Machine room flooring, entrance wall, lintel &
    architecture finishing, pit ladder, machine room ladder, face sheet, separator channel for
    big hoist way.. Etc.

    3. To furnish 3 phase power supply with main switch at lift Machine room along with double
    earth, earth bus bar, single phase lighting supply with switch board, proper lighting at lift
    Machine room and lift shaft as per our instruction. All above will be permanent
    arrangement.
