We thank you for inviting us to bid for the subject project vide your email. We are pleased to
submit our Techno-commercial offer which are detailed in the other sections of this document.

GCG Engineering Services is part of the Ghobash Company with a strong footprint and support

your requirements, and to build your confidence in our ability to perform the enclosed scope
of works.

PART 1 - TECHNICAL

1. SUBJECT OF THE OFFER:


The Scope of this Offer covers Supply of Tube & Fittings as detailed in the sections below.
Our offer is based on the E-mail received from M/s Falcor Engineering & Contracting
Service 5th April. 2024.

The offer is to be read in conjunction with the rest of the sections of this offer.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES BY GCG:

1. Mechanical Design as per latest edition/version of ASME Section VIII Div.1, ASME
SEC IX, ASME SEC V, ASME SEC II Part A, B, C &D and TEMA R.
2. Preparation of Design calculations, fabrication drawings, QA/QC documents and
submission for approval from client and AI.
3. Submission of relevant WPS/PQR/WPQ, NDE/and Pressure test procedures.
4. Submission of MTC’s and ITP for approvals.
5. Materials Procurement and Manufacturing of PGC After Coolers as per drawings.
6. Inspection and testing as per ASME Sec, VIII Div.1/TEMA and approved ITP’S
7. ASME Code Stamp with “U” designator and Manufacturer’s Data Report as per ASME
Section VIII Div-1 latest edition.
8. N2 Purging prior to dispatch.
9. Supply of Start-up and Commissioning Spares. (200% Gaskets and 10% Bolting
materials-min 4Nos).
10. Submission of final documentation (Manufacturer’s Data Book).
11. Packing and marking of shipment, Delivery to Emirates Steel Stores, at ICAD, Abu
Dhabi.

 Tube Sheets: ASME SA240 Gr.316L Plate.

956Nos. (PREN No ≥24).
 Girth Flanges/Channel Cover- ASME SA105N.
 Baffles- ASME SA240 Gr.316L.
 Spacers- ASME SA213 TP316L.
 Tie Rods- S.S316L.
 Impingement Plate- ASME SA240 Gr. 316L
 Nozzle Pipes: ASME SA106 Gr. B Seamless.
 Nozzle Flanges: ASME SA105N #150 WNRF/B16.5
 Saddle Supports: ASME SA36 or S275Jr.
 Main Gaskets- 4.5mm thk, Spiral wound Graphite filled S.S Inner Ring/C. S Outer
Ring.
 Manhole/Nozzle Gaskets- Spiral Wound S.S316L Graphite Filler
 Bolting Materials- SA193 B7/SA194 Gr.2H

Tube-to-Tube Sheet Connection.

 The tube-to-tube sheet connection will be mechanically roller expanded into a double
grooved tube hole as per drawing
 The tube-to-tube sheet connection will be Seal welded. Qualification shall be in accordance with
the requirements of ASME IX Para QW-193. The tubes will also be mechanically roller expanded
post welding.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND PAINTING.

 S.S Parts: Degreasing, Pickling and Passivation.


EXTERNAL SURFACE:

 Surface Grit Blasting SA2.5.


 Primer Coat: Intergard Epoxy Primer: 75 Microns.
 Second Coat: Intergard 410 Light Grey: 100 Microns.
 Final Coat: Intergard 410 Light Grey: 65 Microns.
 Total DFT: 240 Microns.

INTERNAL SURFACE (only for channel):

 Surface Grit Blasting SA3.0.


 One Coat: Glass Flake Epoxy Lining: 600 Microns.
 Total DFT: 600 Microns
4. EXCLUSION.

 Thermal Design.
 Insulation and Cladding.
 Site Installation/Site Activities.
 Fireproofing and Cathodic Protection.

 Civil Foundation and Supply of Anchor Bolts.
 Third party inspection.
 Supply of certified spreader beam, slings & shackles
 Supply of ladder, platforms, and Handrails.
 Any other item or process not expressly mentioned herein.

5. MATERIAL TEST CERTIFICATES:

 Third Party Inspection shall be appointed by Emirates Steel at Free of Cost.


 Material Test Certificates for Tubes will be certified in accordance with BS EN 10204 3.2
and all other materials will be certified in accordance with BS EN 10204 3.1.
 Materials Origin: Except China origin. (Tubes/Tube sheets: India).
6. NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. As per ASME Sec VIII Div-1/ITP.:

• RT-1 for Butt Weld Joints using Gama Source.


• UT for Tube sheets before drilling.
• Dye Penetrant Test of Tube Sheet after drilling.
• 100% Dye Penetrant Test Tube to Tube Sheet welds.
• PT/MPT for Nozzle to Shell / Channel welds.
• Tube Sheet/Baffles (Go-No-Go).
• Tube/Tube Sheet expansion.
• 100% Dye Penetrant Test Tube to Tube Sheet welds.
• PMI for SS materials.
• Visual examination, dimensional check. (Stage wise and final).
• Hydrostatic test.

4. VALIDITY:
 30 Days

5. PAYMENT TERMS:
 20% against receipt and acceptance of PO.
 20% upon Code-2 approval of GA drawings and QA/QC documents.
 20% upon receipt of major materials at shop
 30 upon completion of work/readiness of materials.
 10% upon final documentation.

6. DELIVERY PERIOD:
 22 Weeks upon receipt of PO and approvals to proceed.
 Delivery schedule subject to receipt of PO, milestone payments, drawings, and
approval of documents.
 Should you require the items sooner than the above timescale then please advise
and we will review our delivery schedule.

7. DATA SHEET/SPECIFICATIONS/DRAWINGS:
Our offer is based on the SOW and documents received with RFQ to design and fabricate
the equipment and we would reserve the right to re-quote should additional
specifications/clarifications be received or revised later.

8. QUALITY ASSURANCE.
Quality management and accreditation will be in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. We
have a proven externally audited management and production system for all equipment
that we manufacture. All orders follow the below steps:
• Order review & acknowledgement
• Project review & hand over meeting
• Project managed purchase of parts & production progress to include reports &
photographs where required
• Final Project Review

Following a contract award, a Project Manager / Project Engineer will be assigned as a


first Point of contact. Full access to our facility can be arranged along with copies of our
Quality manual for your review.
