just a place to grab your daily brew; it's a haven for coffee enthusiasts, a hub

beans welcomes you like an old friend.

At Sip Society, we are dedicated to crafting exceptional coffee that transcends


the ordinary. Our skilled barista meticulously select premium beans, sourced
from the finest coffee regions, to create a symphony of flavors in every cup.
Whether you're a connoisseur seeking the perfect pour-over or someone who
enjoys the comforting embrace of a classic latte, our diverse menu has
something for every palate.

Business Name

Our business’s name is SIP SOCIETY because our coffee is serve in a


cup with straw instead of a mug. “Sip Society” was chosen as the name for our
coffee business to evoke a sense of community and shared experiences around
the act of sipping on a delightful cup of coffee. The term "sip" not only
emphasizes the core action of enjoying a beverage but also suggests a slower,
more mindful approach to coffee consumption. It invites patrons to savor each
sip, appreciating the nuances of flavor and aroma. The addition of "Society"
reinforces our commitment to creating a welcoming space where coffee lovers
come together to form a community. It signifies that our coffee shop is more
than just a place to grab a quick drink; it's a gathering spot, a meeting place,

The location of our business is at Perez Boulevard in front of University


of Luzon . We chose this place because based on our observations, there are
lots of students with their group of friends who loves coffee.

The focus of our business is on brewed coffee and we are going to produce
unique quality of drinks from this. The vision of our company to be a

commitment to fostering genuine connections. Our goal’s focus is on making
our customers satisfied with what we are serving. We choose coffee shop
because it is complex , global collective of diverse businesses that supplies
most of the premium quality of drinks that can satiety every citizens cravings.
We prioritize premium coffee beans, sourced responsibly from global regions,
ensuring a rich and satisfying taste for our customers. SIP Society is a trendy
and vibrant coffee shop that aims to create a unique and inviting space for
coffee enthusiasts and socializers alike. Our coffee shop will serve as a hub for
individuals seeking a premium coffee experience in a relaxed and communal
setting. The coffee shop is located at Perez Boulevard, Dagupan City in front
only of University of Luzon. Our shop is open everyday with the time of 8AM to
11PM. We assure you that you will not regret choosing and buying our
premium quality of brewed coffees.

 We will do as much as we can to get our business name known


throughout the locality we plan to make flyer to give the people that we
have a business name, logo, and address on them. It will also list the day
of opening and will state that if you bring the flyer in through the first
week of opening you can gets 20% off any product.

Target market

 Our target market will be to anyone who enjoy coffee.


 Our target will be middle class, student, professional.
 Our target will be the younger who like refreshment in their busy
schedule who love sweet and cold coffee.

Operation Functions

 2 – 3 barista per shift 7 days a week.


 Of the barista on shift, 1 employee will be designated as manager. This
person will handle customer and employee issues, manage scheduling
and assist with ordering and inventory.
 Josie and Lane will be operations managers and will likely split their time
between the 1 location and 2 upcoming locations. They will manage
ordering, business partnerships, oversee sales and marketing,
development of daily specials and events, and future growth.
 Josie and Lane will also hire a social media manager to ensure that their
posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok are professionally
made and are in line with their company branding and image.

 Social ads work well for a our Sip Society Cafe Shop on platforms such
as Facebook and Instagram. Showcase images of our drinks and use
these channels to promote any special deals and discounts that we may
be offering to the public.

 As self-evident as it may sound, the entrance to our Sip Society Cafe


Shop must be visible and attractive. Many bars and coffee shops have
dark entries hidden from busy crowds. We don’t want to make that
mistake, ensure our Sip Society Cafe Shop has an eye-catching appeal.

Pricing Sip Society

 Cafe will adopt a competitive pricing policy that will maintain a fair price
for goods while still staying ahead of other competitors. Sip Society offers
a variety of coffees ranging from 45php to 120php.

Use of Funds

 The start-up expenses include an estimated 850,000php consisting of


several items:
 Legal expenses for obtaining licenses and permits as well as the
accounting services totaling 75,000php.
 Insurance (general liability, workers’ compensation and property casualty)
coverage at a total premium of 75,000php.
 Premises remodeling in the amount of 500,000php.
 Other start-up expenses including website (200,000php) and phone and
utility deposits (125,000php).
 The required start-up assets of 2,100,000php. include: Plates, glasses,
etc. worth approximately 100,000php.
 Equipment for the total amount of approximately 2,000,000php.

Sources of Funds’

 Funding for the company comes from two major sources–owners’


investments and bank loans. Two major owners, Erika Castillo and her
father have contributed 3,500,000php and 1,500,000php respectively.
All other investors have contributed 2,000,000php, which brings the
total investments to 7,000,000php. The remaining 1,500,000php needed
to cover the start-up expenses and assets came from the two bank loans–
a one-year loan in the amount of 500,000php and a long-term (five years)
loan of 1,000,000php Both loans were secured through the Central Bank
of the Philippines. Thus, total start-up loss is assumed in the amount of
1,384,000php.
