WARNING: To eliminate risk of aircraft nosewheel tire

damage in event of accidental overtravel of tug on initial
approach with tug cradle in an abnormal non-procedural
high position, it is essential to keep the cradle front edge
to the original specification and not presenting sharp edge
due to wearing down of cradle floor by non-procedural dragging
of cradle after the high-desity white plastic Cradle Wear Strip (part
# APM1005C) is worn completley through. Inspect the Wear Strip and
Replace when it is worn down to the brass attachment screw heads.
If Wear Strip is found to be worn fully away or accidentally ripped
off by impact, also inspect the Cradle front edge and grind off any
sharp edges before installing new Wear Strip. If cradle front edge
is worn too thin to grind back to original blunt configuration, be-
cause the Wear Strip has been missing for extended period, replace
Cradle (part # APM1000A-1)
