Introduction:-

In today's globalized world, currency conversion is a frequent requirement for

individuals and businesses involved in international trade, travel, or investments.
With fluctuating exchange rates, having an automated, accurate, and real-time
currency conversion tool is essential. This project aims to create a currency
converter application using Advanced Java concepts. The application will allow
users to convert between different currencies using up-to-date exchange rates,
fetched through external APIs. The implementation will focus on creating an
efficient, user-friendly tool that simplifies the currency conversion process while
demonstrating key Java programming techniques like API integration, GUI design,
and handling real-time data

Aim of Micro Project:-

Aims/Benefits of the Micro-Project
 Aim: To develop a user-friendly Java application that allows users to
convert between multiple currencies using real-time exchange rates.
 Benefits:

 Provides an accurate and fast method for currency conversion.

 Eliminates the need for manual calculations or relying on third-
party tools.
 Enhances understanding of Java API integration and GUI
development.
 Offers hands-on experience with real-time data handling through
APIs
Intended course outcomes:-

 Demonstrates Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) to optionally

store conversion history or preferences.
 Applies knowledge of API integration to fetch real-time currency
exchange rates.
 Showcases JavaFX or Swing to design a graphical user interface for
ease of use.
 Utilizes multithreading to ensure real-time data fetching without
blocking the UI, enhancing the user experience.

Literature review:-

To build our project we took the from following links and books such as:

1 AJP book we can refer and name of this book is tech max.

In this book we understood the concept of this project.

2: We can visit the following websites http://www.w3schools.com

Proposed Methodology:-

Methods of project to improve it:

 GUI Design: Create a simple interface using JavaFX or Swing for user inputs
and displaying conversion results.
 API Integration: Use an external API to fetch live exchange rates.
 Conversion Logic: Implement currency conversion using for precision.
 Testing: Validate the results by comparing with other conversion tools.
 Deployment: Package and document the application for use.
