ABSTRACT
The primary objective of this review thesis is to introduce the concept of utilizing
various forms of energy to meet the needs of modern human life. In today’s world, there
is a proliferation of vehicles on the roads, leading to increased fuel consumption and
environmental hazards. This project aims to conceptualize, design, and fabricate an
electric bicycle (e-bike) to address the growing need for sustainable urban transportation
solutions. The e-bike integrate advanced technology and innovative design elements to
create an efficient, eco-friendly, and user-friendly mode of transportation. The focus of
the project involves meticulous design considerations, material selection, and
engineering to optimize the e-bike’s performance, comfort, and safety. Key aspects such
as the frame’s material, battery technology, motor efficiency, and electronic control
systems has been carefully analyzed and integrated for optimal functionality. Key
challenges, includes balancing weight distribution for optimal handling, improving
battery technology for extended range, and remain pivotal focal points in advancing e-
bike design and fabrication. It Is our duty to mitigate fuel consumption and minimize
the release of harmful emissions. With this in mind, we take a small step towards
reducing reliance on fuel-intensive vehicles and drawing attention to their alternatives,
such as electric bicycles. We have developed a bicycle that operates on an alternative
power source, thereby reducing the need for human exertion. This thesis outlines the
design of an alternative mode of transportation aimed at enhancing both social and
environmental well-being.
