EIoT Laboratory 05

Aim: To simulate an operation of obstacle detection and notifying it with buzzer or LED.
You may additionally modify this to count objects entering the room

Objectives:
1. To understand sensor and actuator interfacing with development boards such as raspberry
pi3
2. To interface PIR sensor HC SR 501 to sense the presence of objects and raise the alert in
the form of buzzer

Theory:
1. Draw board layout diagram of PIR with raspberry pi 3
2. Describe proximity sensors and its components
3. State application based on PIR sensors
4. Screen shot of running motor.
5. Components Required
6. Circuit Design
7. Code
8. Working of the Project
9. Applications
10. Conclusion

FAQ:
1. What are the various PIR sensors.( Proximity)
2. Compare various features of PIR sensors
3. How to integrate stepper motor with beagle bone as well as raspberry pi using bread
board?
4. Comment on PIR sensing range, distance and angle of detection
