FIB TELEMATCH CARNIVAL

1. INTRODUCTION

Every semester, students of Foundation of Business (FIB) need to handle an annual


sports event in order to fulfil the requirement for Co-curriculum 1 subject. Therefore, this
semester we are planning to organize a FIB TELEMATCH CARNIVAL between semester 1
student on 10th December 2022 which aims to develop communication, teamwork, and
management skills among us.
We are expecting a sponsorship and approval from management and financial from
University of Kuala Lumpur (Business School) to ensure the smoothness and success of this
event.
This event will be fully managed and conducted by the semester one Foundation in
Business students and by assist from the subject lecturer which is Miss Nurelya Shafika binti
Mohd Sam in order to achieve the objectives of the event.

2. AIMS

To provide a platform for students of Foundation in Business 2022 to enhance and expose the
students on how to manage a sport event.

3. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the day, students will be able:


• To ensure the students are being able to think critically and creatively to make the event
more interesting and enjoyable.
• To build teamwork between the body committees and other students participating in the
event.
• To ensure the committee members are cooperating with each other well on handling the
event.
• To strengthen the relationship between students and lecturer.

4. TARGET AND PARTICIPANTS


• All FIB students from semester 1.
5. TENTATIVE OF THE EVENT

▪ DAY: SATURDAY
▪ DATE: 10th DECEMBER 2022
▪ TIME: 8.00 am – 3.00 pm

TIME ACTIVITIES

• Gather and prepare for the event


• Registration and attendance
8.00 am – 9.00 am • Distribute breakfast to all students
• Aerobic exercise
9.00 am – 9.30 am • Assign all participants in a group for competition
• Games started
10.00 am – 1.00 pm • After finish first round, student will be given 20
minutes break
• Lunch distributed to all the students

• Lunch break
1.00 pm – 2.00 pm • Zuhr prayer

• Closing ceremony
• Announcement of winners. Awards and prize
2.00 pm – 3.00 pm giving ceremony to participants and winners
6. FINANCIAL BUDGET

Prizes (Hamper):
1. 1st Winner (Group) RM 150
2. 2nd Winner (Group) RM 100
3. 3rd Winner (Group) RM 50

4. Consolation (3 Group) RM 90

Food and Beverages:


Breakfast : Bread and Mineral Water
Lunch : Chicken rice and sweet drinks RM1740
Total : RM10 x 174pax

Total RM2480

7. FINANCIAL RESOURCE

We are seeking a total of RM2,480 from UniKL in terms of participants activity, prizes, food and
beverages.
8. CONCLUSION

UniKL Business School Foundation in Business is meant to provide a platform for


students to build leadership abilities via the organisation of various events. Furthermore, this
event might serve as a platform for students to demonstrate their talents in involving in sports
activities and their leadership qualities. Aside from raising awareness of the present situation,
which has affected many professional parties, we believe that this event will provide a chance
for students to investigate and explore their talent in the future.

The purpose of this event is to fulfil our requirement for CO-CURRICULUM 1 2022
SEMESTER subject. We hope that this event can be carried out in accordance with the schedule
that we have planned and that we will receive support from the members. Cooperation from
the secretariat and management is very much appreciated.
