    INTRODUCTION

    First, let me introduce myself, my name is Nur Syahira Izwani Binti Fauzi, and I
    am a student majoring in Bachelor of Science Biology at UiTM Perlis. Since early, I
    have been very passionate about learning how a certain organisation or team work
    so efficiently and I’m also very excited and grateful to be able learning this MGT420
    as I’m looking forward to work with people in the future.

    First, I have learned what is management itself such as planning, organization,


    leading and controlling others to achieve success effectively. From this I was able to
    know how to make a better plan, to lead people in my team. Besides that, I also
    learn about assumption theories that is Theory X and Y which have provide valuable
    insights into different managerial attitudes towards employees and how they can
    impact organizational behaviour and management practices. In planning, I learn
    there’s types of plans such as standing plan, single-use plan and scenario planning
    which are very important to create comprehensive plan that are effective.

    Secondly, by learning decision-making, understanding this have been helping me


    on how to make decisions on various situations. Then, on organizing, by learning
    design of organizational structure, in future I can foster a positive and adaptive
    organizational culture. To continue, in leadership chapter, I have learned leadership
    traits and their style of leadership which making me realize that every successful
    leader we see now have their own traits and styles. Next, in motivation chapter, I
    have learned that there are several natures of motivation that exist in everyone. With
    this I will be able to know what drives them to pursue their goal and how to motivate
    them in the right way so we can work efficiently.

    To conclude, I have learned a lot about this subject, and I want to express my
    gratitude to my lecturer Dr Hairulniza for guiding me along until now. Lastly, in the
    future I hope to fully make use this knowledge I gain so that I can excel in everything
    I manage.
