MS PowerPoint
PowerPoint is a presentation program developed by Microsoft. PowerPoint is often used to
create business presentations, but can also be used for educational or informal purposes.
The presentations are comprised of slides, which may contain text, images, and other media,
such as audio clips and movies.

Working With MS PowerPoint


1.Click on Start Button

2.Select All Programs

3.Look for Microsoft Office and click it.

4.Click on Ms. PowerPoint icon

5.Type some thing and save it at particular location

MS Excel
Software developed and manufactured by Microsoft Corporation that allows users to
organize, format, and calculate data with formulas using a spreadsheet system broken up by
rows and columns.

Working With MS Excel

1.Click on Start Button

2.Select All Programs

3.Look for Microsoft office and click it.

4.Click on Ms. Excel icon

5.Type some thing and save it at particular location

LAB TASKS
1. Create a PowerPoint presentation on “Computers”. The presentation shall contain
the following contents:
A. Introduction
B. Generation
C. Basic Components
D. Types of Hardware
E. Types of Software
F. Applications of Computer
G. Advantages and disadvantages of a computer over a human.
Add text, pictures, tables and animations to the presentation. Use appropriate slide
layouts. Add slide number and footers on each slide except the Master slide. The
footers shall be your name and roll number.
