A.OPENING PRAYER:

Tita Kesiya:
Good afternoon to each one of us! And welcome to Mabuhay Elementary School Girl Scout Investiture 2024.
We are gathered here to welcome to the scouting movement the new members of the troop. To start with, may I
call Tita Khrsylene Pearl G. Dubos to lead us the opening prayer.
(Background music)

Heavenly Father, /Almighty Eternal God,/ we raise our minds and hearts to you /at the beginning
of this Ceremony /.We humbly beg for your guidance,/ protection, /and forgiveness of our
sins. /Grant us the grace to learn /the virtues of your youth /and apply the Scout Oath and Law/ in
every action in your honor and glory. /Deign to bless the Girl Scouts of the Philippines/ and the Scouting
Movement/ in this institution,/ as well as our sister Scouts /all over the world. /Fill the soul of
our Troop Leaders/ with your own spirit of knowledge;/ wisdom and reverence, /
influenced by your divine leadership, /she may, /by word and example /lead us on/ to imitate
your virtue of leadership. /We thank you for granting us/ our ever-loving and supportive parents/
a n d b y m a k i n g t h e m y o u r r e p r e s e n t a t i v e s . / H e l p u s c a r r y o u t conscientiously /by
ready and cheerful obedience/ to our father and mother./ Let us be ever attentive /to their
wishes, /eager to make them happy/ and patient to accept their corrections,/ all these we pray /in
your most holy name. Amen./

Tita Caryl:
Through the years, /the GSP continues to pursue vigorously /its character-building/ and youth development
programs /committed to nation- building. /Started in the Philippines by Josefa Llanes-Escoda in 1939,/
the movement persists/ in forming positive values and building character. /Since then,/ scouting made a great
impact on young girls alike./ This very day,/ we are celebrating a memorable moment in a girl’s life:/ being
welcomed into the Girl Scout organization./

B. ENTRANCE OF SCOUTS AND LEADERS

Tita Kesiya:
Let us all welcome the candidates for investiture as they approach the ceremonial place followed by the Troop
leaders, the faculty, and our guests.
(Let us give them resounding applause.)

C. ENTRANCE OF COLORS
Tita Caryl:
Let us all then witness the ENTRANCE OF COLORS.

Let us all stand for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem/ through Audio Presentation./
And to be followed by the recitation of Panunumpa ng katapan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas by
___________________________
(Emcee say…..Girl Scout Salute) ---
Ready front after.
Afterward will be the grounding of colors.

Tita Kesiya:
Please remain standing/ for the rededication of the Girl Scout Oath and Law,/ Its Mission and Vision /to be lead to
us by the selected Girl Scouts.

D. WELCOME REMARKS
Tita Caryl:
To formally welcome each one to this ceremony,/ may I call our very supportive and active principal/
Sir Joel T. Penagunda..
(Please give him a Girl Scout Clap)

MESSAGE of the Principal

E. PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES
Tita Kesiya:
We have here with us ____ (number of start scouts), aged ________ and _______(number of junior girl scouts)
aged ________who would like to be a cadet scouts.

To lead the investing ceremony,

May I call the respected Girl Scout Council Chairman /Board Member /or any representative from
the Council Madam________________________ .

F. INVESTITURE PROPER

CELESTIAL CEREMONY (STAR SCOUT)

Introduction
Tita Caryl:
(The Morning Star tita ____________ and the North Star Tita____________ stand at the side of the hall with the
magic carpet in front of them)

(While playing the girl scout song , holding the magic carpet ,the five selected star scouts enter and hopping and
skipping going to the center of the stage. Followed by the morning and north star tita aside)

After reaching the center , each star will recite its task
STARTLIGHT---We’ re here the startlights shining through Brave and helpful to all of you.

STARDUST—We’re the stardust on our way to help the people everyday

STARGLOW—We’re the starglow watch us grow, helpful, truthful wherever we go.

STARBEAM—Here we are the jolly star beams helping people where trouble gleams

STARRAYS---Here we are the sparkling starrays giving help with a smiling face.

Thereafter
(Morning star tita ________comes forward, executes the girl scout sign to North Star Tita ___________and
announce aloud.

“North star, we have found little Twinklers in the starry circle (pointing the kids) who want to join our star”

North star Tita ________say ,

“Stars are little children who brighten their homes with smiles deeds. Each star has to make happy everyday her
mother, or father, or brother or sister, has to keep herself, brightly shining by being clean, truthful and obedient.
(Facing the star kids and ask )
Do you want to become such a star in your home?

All stars scout will answer with the guidance of the Tita) “Yes, North star, we do”

North star tita _________ say

“Very well. Twinkler you have come to the right place. But before you join the clusters, you have to take a promise.
Will you say your promise now?
Answer: Yes, we do.
Tita will give the command.
(All stars scout will recite the star scout promise with their right hand executes the Girl scout sign, loudly and
clearly but slowly)

Tita Kesiya:
I would like to request our investing officer/ to pin the star scout membership pin /on the left corner of the stars
uniform./ She then welcomes the girls/ to the troop with the girl scout handshake, a sign, saying …..
“Welcome to the star Troop Mabuhay Elementary School Girl Scout of the Philippines- General santos City
Council.”

North star tita ________

“Now you are truly a member of the star scout troop. But before your star cluster can accept you, your mother or
guardian will put you on your Star Scout Cap”
(The mother will come to their kid and puts the cap on their daughters)

North star Tita _____

“We welcome you to the Milky Way”

Tita Kesiya:
Let us give them a round of applause please…

This time, we will now proceed to the Junior Investiture..

May I call Tita Caryl Grace Gonzaga, the school Girl Scout Coordinator to give us the introduction.

Tita CARYL:
We are partnered together to welcome to our Girl Scouts Sisterhood the following new members of troop
(Calls out the girls by patrol to please stand )
If we would show these girls the true path of scouting, we must remind ourselves that honor is sacred and that it is
upon this that our promise is built. As a scouts let us prepare ourselves.
(ALL sing together the marching song , on my honor)
Before taking your promise. I ask you to listen once again to the promise and law, appreciating as you do so, what
these words are to mean to you today on.

“Everyone who joins the Girl scout movement makes the promise. The Girl Scout Promise provides the
fundamental principles of Girl Scouting all over the world. (Light the center candle)
These principles the we should follow are:

TITA 1 light the first candle and say

DUTY TO GOD---acceptance that GOD exist and that we have a duty to know, love and serve HIM.

Tita 2 light the second candle and say –

DUTY TO COUNTY—loyalty and service to one’s country

TITA 3 light the third candle and say

DUTY TO MANKI ND --- Love and service to our fellowmen who are GOD’s children”

Thereafter, starting with the first law, each girl patrol leader turn leaves her place one at a time goes to the center
bring her candle and light her candle on and say the first law and immediately proceed to the right side and light
the last candle left and right and back to their chair and let their patrol members light their candles one by one. )…
and so on,,,……until the last recited law.

CARYL:
Each candle flame sheds the brilliance of a SCOUT LAW. MAY THEIR GLOW SO LIGHT YOUR WAY THAT
AT NO TURN OF THE PATH WILL YOU STUMBLE.

To the new girls, as we have prepared ourselves to receive you,

So you must prepare yourself to become one of us. Remember that to make the girl scout promise links you with
many others and you walk not alone. As you conduct yourselves so with other girl scouts be judged by you, Your
honor means that you can be trusted in all things. Knowing this, do your promise in your honor, to do your duty to
GOD and your country to help other people at all times, to obey the Girl Scout Law”

May I call on _________________________to serve as our investing officer,

MADAM may I present the #_______junior scouts who wish to be invested as members of theGirl Scout of the
Philippines.

INVESTING OFFICER:
Do you know what your honor means? can I trust you on you honor to try to do your duty to GOD and your
country, help other people at all times and obey the Girl Scout Law/

CANDIDATES; Yes Madam, I do.

INVESTING OFFICER
Please recite the Girl Scout promise and law”

(Candidates will recite in unison executing a scout sign)

Thereafter
Tita Kesiya:
May I request our investing officer to please pins the the Girl Scout word pin on each candidate saying
“I trust you to keep the promise you have made. Welcome to the sisterhood of Girl Guiding and Girl scouting”.
Then she welcome each candidate by executing the Girl scout sign and left handshake simultaneously)
